** Tous les nouveaux meubles ont été ajoutés à chaque suite de l'hôtel Phoenix All Suites West en bord de mer à Gulf Shores, en Alabama. Les vastes améliorations intérieures ont été achevées en décembre 2016. **

Small, but great place!

The location is excellent! Walking distance to restaurants and attractions made our trip easy. The place is very clean and the daily housekeeping is a major plus. The office ladies were exceptionally helpful, as well. Wonderful trip!!!

Great location on a budget!

Perfect location and great price. The condos are a little dated, but you cant beat the price. This was the only place that didn't charge a cleaning fee! Overall, we were pleased and will definitely book again!

GREAT STAY

Best view from balcony. Very Pleasant stay. Staff was AMAZING. Everything was clean. Ceiling fans need to be updated (a little squeaky).

great option for a short stay

I took a short trip with my husband. We enjoyed the location and space. I also like not paying a cleaning fee, since it is priced as a hotel. I came back again in November 2015 to the east hotel. Both trips were great.

Room was as expected. We traveled with our 3 teenagers for a last-minute trip. The space was tight but manageable for 3 days with five people. The pull-out couch was more comfortable than most, but did need to be put up each day to make room for everyone. The bunks were fine and fit people 5'5" or smaller. The master bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the pool, but it was clean and easily accessible. Parking was on-site and easy. The public beach access was right next to the property, so our area of the beach was fairly crowded (3 rows deep) at the end of July. The Ike's chair serve was great!

Decent place & location, very average

Pros: good location, view of beach and friendly staff. Property is well maintained and plenty of parking! Cons: bed is ok, could use a flip or new mattress. Toilets are the small, round seats…ok for kids, but not for average size male adults. The living room seating is adequate but not comfortable and decor is very plain. NO WI-FI, supposedly it’s there but we never saw the correct name and no one messaged us back from the rental property or on site office. Adequate for a quick getaway but would not stay here next time

Get what you pay for

We chose this location because it was the cheapest beach front property with availability. As other reviews have stated, there is no bathroom near the pool. You have to go up two floors and go through the office to get to the bathroom. The biggest issue with this is there is no access to a bathroom after the office closes. That means everyone who is swimming in the late afternoon and evening is using the bathroom in the pool because there is no other alternative. That alone is not worth the money we saved by staying here.

Not good!

The stay at the Phoenix suites was not pleasant. I got 3 night stay with my daughter and 2 grandsons. Upon arrival to the room the master bed had sand on the bed spread/comforter. The floor also was sandy. The TV in the living room would not work. After call to front desk the maintenance man came up and he was not able to get TV to work. The evening after going to beach I got in shower and the water draining in bath tub backed up with hair, sand, gravel and dirt!! Had to use plunger to get to drain!?!? Did voice grievances to front desk. I got a phone call after leaving on Sundsy & voiced my issues. The young lady credited my account for $200. Which was nice but when you pay the amount that I payed it was just a drop in bucket. I've been going to the area for over thirty years and this is first for me.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay here. The issues that you describe are not typical and certainly not reflective of our standard of cleanliness. We certainly hope you and your family were able to enjoy our beach and nearby attractions and took home very fond vacation memories.

Great Experience

The Phoenix All Sweets West staff was very nice, and helpful. They allowed us to check in early which was great. The room was clean except for the floors, needs some updating in the kitchen area where wall paper is pealing. Several glasses were cracked and needed replaced, and the ice maker in the freezer only made 6 pieces of ice in a days time, but over all we had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay.. Will definitely stay there again...

Very good experience

The Phoenix all suites we stayed in was very nice. The room was well equipped and for the most part clean. The kitchen floor didn't appear to have been mopped because it was very sticky. Other than that the room was nice. The matress was very good! The desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very good exeperience. We will definitely stay there again!
