The host was responsive. The person she has delegated to check people in not so much. The whole process was weird for lack of a better word. First when you receive check in instructions there is an address provided this is NOT the address of the apartment you will be staying at. Kind of hard to plan when you are thinking ok this is the location of the apartment and this is where we have to park/leave the car, and this is where I am told to meet the manager, while figuring out how to get your belongings to the apartment. I explained we are a family of 6 with a lot of belongings how can we make the check in process as smooth as possible for our family? Ya know the ones paying the money to stay there? Well it was anything but smooth. We were told to meet the PM at a location which was on a street corner, in front of a laundry mat. We walked a few blocks with our belongings to the specified street corner and proceeded to wait 15 minutes on said street corner for the girl to come to get us. We agreed on a time, we were there at that time and for about 10 minutes we could not reach PM. I contacted POwner and she was able to get PM to respond. We were not given the actual address to the property until a text message contained it AFTER we checked in. I am a property owner with a STR and I would be absolutely mortified if this was the way I treated my guests for check in, no we stood on a street corner in 20* weather for 15 minutes. I have to admit, I thought I was scammed.
