Our home is located in a historic Charlotte neighborhood that is currently experiencing gentrification and revitalization. The area reflects the authentic character of the city, with a mix of longtime residents and newer neighbors from many different backgrounds and cultures.
What truly defines this community is its diversity and sense of everyday city life. You will see neighbors out walking, families spending time outside, and people going about their day. This is a lived-in urban neighborhood rather than a secluded or resort-style environment.
We welcome guests who appreciate staying in diverse, evolving communities close to the heart of the city. If you are looking for a more homogeneous or suburban-style setting, another neighborhood may be a better fit for your stay.
Inside the home, however, guests will find a peaceful and comfortable retreat designed for relaxation after exploring Charlotte.

Guests will have full private access to the home during their stay, allowing you to relax and enjoy the space as your own. This includes all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and outdoor spaces.
The backyard is fully fenced and offers comfortable outdoor seating—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Charlotte.
For your convenience, the home features self check-in with a smart lock, allowing for a smooth and flexible arrival experience. Your unique access code will be provided prior to arrival.
Guests may also use the private driveway and designated parking areas available at the property.
Please note that a small number of owner’s closets are locked and reserved for supplies and housekeeping. All other areas of the home are available for guest use.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste and keeping dogs off beds and furniture. There is a fee for picking up after your dogs waste.

Due to severe allergies, cats and other animals are not permitted.

ID verification is required before check-in information is released.

Please note that this verification is separate from any identity verification you may have completed through Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or any other booking platform.

Failure to complete verification will prevent access to the property.

Important Rules

To ensure a great experience for everyone, please review the following:

• Guest making the reservation must be at least 21 years old.

• The person making the reservation must be staying at the property.

• Only registered guests on the reservation may be on the property.

• Visitors are not permitted without prior host approval, regardless of the time of day or night.

• No parties, events, or gatherings

• No smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or illegal substances anywhere on the property.

• Furniture may not be moved.

• No commercial filming or photography.

• Open flames, candles not allowed.

• Glue, tape, nails or other form of holding items on our walls is not allowed as it will damage our walls.



Local Guest Policy

If you live in Charlotte or the surrounding area, please contact us before booking.

Reservations made by local guests without prior communication may be declined or canceled.

This policy helps us ensure the home is being used for legitimate lodging purposes and not for parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.


Avoidable Fees

We do not charge cleaning fees or pet fees. The fees below apply only when additional cleaning, repairs, or rule enforcement become necessary.

• Parties or gatherings: $1,000 plus damages

• Unapproved guests or visitors: $150 per person, per day.

• Pet hair on beds or furniture: $80 per hour

• Pet waste left in yard: $150

• Excessive cleaning beyond normal use: $80 per hour

• Late checkout without approval: $25 per every 15 minutes

• Undisclosed pets: $75 per pet. Service animals must be with owner at all times and most not be left alone in the property without hosts approval.

• Damaged towels: $20 each

• Damaged sheets: $70 each

• Damaged comforters: $100 each

Our goal is never to charge these fees. We simply provide them upfront so expectations are clear and there are no surprises.

Checkout

Before departure, please:

• Wash used dishes or start the dishwasher. Do not leave any dirty dishes.

• Remove food from the refrigerator

• Place trash and food in outdoor bins

• Return games and household items to their original place as you found them.

• Clean and put away any small appliances used. (Blender, mixer, etc)

• Sign out of personal streaming accounts

• Remove pet waste and excess pet hair to avoid fees.

No need to strip beds or wash linens—we'll take care of that.


Neighborhood & Disclosures

The home is located in a diverse, transitioning Charlotte neighborhood that reflects the city's growth and character. Guests should expect normal city activity, traffic, people walking, and typical urban sounds.

Our home is a single-story property with 4 steps at the entrance.

Professional pest control is provided monthly; however, occasional insects may still be present, particularly if doors or windows are left open.

Exterior security cameras monitor the front entrance, driveway, and street. There are no interior cameras.

Like any home, unexpected circumstances may occasionally occur. If there is a specific amenity that is essential to your stay, please reach out before arrival so we can confirm it is available and in working order.
