The house was clean and very spacious. The property manager was very pleasant and quick to respond to my questions. The location is convenient to everything ie. Niagara Falls, Canada, grocery stores and outlet mall. Great place to stay.
Kalpesh was a wonderful host! He answered all my questions promptly. The house was as advertised and close to EVERYTHING. The neighborhood is charming and wonderful. We would stay again if we were in the area!
In general, the experience was positive. The spacious accommodation was suitable for our family of 11, which was a major advantage. It is also a safe place for children. However, the cleanliness did not meet our expectations, resulting in my mom having to take matters into her own hands and clean the space.
This property had the bare minimum. There were very little utensils and it was very hard to cook anything. Dirty old towels, no paper towels, and no washers or dryer. House has a weird smell.
The house overall was really nice. There were some small piles of dust and some cobwebs and dust bunnies on the walls and floors. The listing advertised that there were dishes, but really there were only some plastic utensils and plates, and there were no glasses. The TV was also pretty difficult to use, but the wifi connection was strong and the house was easy to maintain a comfortable temperature in the winter. Definitely a nice place for a large group as there were enough beds and couches to sleep up to 12 people. The cooking supplies and dishes weren't an issue for us as we were visiting family for Thanksgiving and went to see them for all our meals, but it definitely would have been an issue if we were vacationing and planned on cooking at the house. We had too few towels as well, but the owner brought more over for us very quickly and was responsive to whatever we needed.
While the owners promptly addressed issues like the door lock and cable box, the overall cleanliness fell short. Dead bugs on walls, bathroom had hairs in it, a dirty stove, and various kitchen hygiene concerns were noted. Maintenance issues included an unpleasant sewage odor from the upstairs toilet indicating it needs to be reseated. Kitchen amenities lacked essentials like paper towels and knives, and the absence of a dishwasher required handwashing with minimal dish soap. The downstairs bedroom door had a hole. The Nest thermostat presented challenges with temperature schedules, and the owners' resolution involved us deleting them. There is internet, however, we unable to stream on the tv. On a positive note, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the location was great.
The kitchen needs to be checked more closely. The dishes were dirty and had to be washed before using. It was stated there was a toaster, could not find one. Overall, my stay was comfortable.
The house is go enough for a family of 10. The house is colder at night and for some reason and I try to make it warmer and never went more than 64 degrees. The property manager was very pleasant. But I think the property needs better cleaning and few fixes there are some broken stuff.
From the beginning the communication was terrible. Didnât receive the code to the house until after 4pm, after the check in time, even after asking for it the day before (which is what we usually experience at VRBO properties). The house was FILTHY. Far from what was advertised. The sofa and loveseat where very tore up. It looked like someone colored in with marker. Beds had huge stains that looked like urine on them. The walls were black with dirt, even had what looked like a hand print on the wall. What was even worse was we made the owner aware within an hour of checking in and let him know we would be going to a hotel due to lack of cleanliness. All his response was, was that he hadnât been told that before. Never offered to send the cleaning people out again or refund us any money. Offered ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to us. I continued to message the property owner even after our vacation was over. I was also told after I got home he could have offered more cleaning at his expense. Where was that offer when we were there and could have gone back to the house. We have stayed at many many VRBO properties and always have a great experience. This was the worst experience we have had by a long shot. The owner is clearly only interested in money and not his guests experience. If I could give zero stars I would.
Our family was a little hesitant after reading the recent reviews about the house we had chosen. After a 7.5 hour drive from Michigan we were pleasantly surprised. The house was in a quiet little neighborhood approximately 10 mins from the main area of Downtown Niagara Falls. The house smelled clean and fresh and all the furniture was in working order. Yes there were a few cracks in the pleather but the sofas were clean and comfortable. The write up states that you will need plates ,cups and silverware so we bought disposable. There are pots and pans but we brought our electric skillet. There is a coffee maker ,microwave and nice size refrigerator. The kitchen was perfect for our family of 8. The bedrooms are laid out nicely and everyone had their own bed. The bathrooms are nice sized one upstairs and one down. We had a wonderful time and would like to come back to explore the Canadian side next time. Our family was not disappointed and our host was wonderful. Very timely answers to our emails. Our family is looking forward to booking again! If you are looking for glamour and perfection this is not your place., if you are a family looking for a comfortable, reasonable place to hang out while exploring Niagara Falls with a wonderful host then this is the house youâve been looking for!
Outside front deck carpet torn handrail loose, furniture grimy and unusable. A bed upstairs was not properly secured causing the bed to fall. Kitchen not well supplied causing us to use our own plates silverware etc. The home was in great need of wall repair and painting. Very disappointing. Kitchen table 2 of the 4 chairs were in need of repairs and not useable.
The house was ok but the living room furniture should be replaced because the pleather is torn and cracked, the DR chairs are shakey, one of the beds fell on one side and absolutely no kitchen supplies. We had to repair bed, buy silverware, plates, and etc. The grass was very high we we arrived but the host did have it mowed after we requested. Neighborhood was ok. Overall, the house was OK for a two day stay.
Our family gathered for a youth hockey tournament in Buffalo. Our grandson played and he and his family stayed with the team at the team hotel. The rest of the family stayed in this home. Location was near Niagara Falls, local Wegmans and a short commute to the ice arenas in downtown Buffalo. We had a terrific time .
7 guys in town for football game. House manager communicated well whenever needed. Allowed us early check in. No frills for house, but none guaranteed and none needed.
2 story, 3 bed, 2 full bath, entire home, less than 10 minute drive to the Niagara Falls (4miles), Prime outlet, and major grocery stores. Can park up to 4 vehicles on a driveway.
