Worth the hike!

Beautiful, tranquil property. Chaz was there to greet us and show us the ropes, and was quick to respond throughout our stay. It’s definitely a good hike in, but not so bad once you’ve dropped your bags:). I wouldn’t recommend it for people with mobility issues. The pool was a real treat, well maintained and just the right temp. We loved hanging out there, soaking in the view of Yelapa, and watching the parrots and macaws. We were a group of 6 friends and it was the perfect amount of space for us to spread out + have privacy when needed. If in Yelapa we’d stay here again.

Great Find!

We loved our stay here! it was a lot bigger than we needed, next time we will invite more friends!the sunsets are amazing. down side was the amount of steps to the store and back , about 500 steps each way. no lights on walkways, bring a headlamp for sure. that did not detract from the views and the comfort! All the beds were comfortable, and Miguel the care taker shows up daily to make sure everything is ok! we will be back.

Secluded with breathtaking views

What an fun experience this stay was. Communication with host was excellent, they were there to meet us and help us get oriented. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. Pool and views of the bay were amazing. Plenty of jungle creatures and noise at night and we lost power once with the storms that frequent that time of the year (August), but this just made the experience more memorable. Although we never saw or met any neighbors, their dog seemed to always be by our side for the 3 days there, such a sweet thing. Would even make the trek down to the beach for dinner with us. Highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Wonderful trip to Yelapa

Our family and friends had a magical week in Yelapa where we felt like part of the community by the time we left. The views were perfect, the pool divine and our hosts, Bret and Chazie were extremely attentive and helpful guiding us to activities. The house is definitely quirky but charming as well. It was a wonderful week.

Relaxing Private Jungle/Beach Get Away

We had an amazing stay in Yelapa because we had this awesome location to call home for a week. The pool was clean, well kept and well used! The beds were all clean, comfy and had bug nets. There were nine adults and we had plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked for all of us to cook and eat meals together. The caretaker Alan is so kind and helpful, meeting us at the dock and helping to carry luggage and groceries up to the casa as well as answering all our questions and helping us find everything we needed. Jenny, the house keeper was very discreet and did a great job tidying up after us and keeping the casa clean during our stay. There are 250 stairs up to this property which is why it felt so private and relaxing. Nestled above the beach on the hillside you get an amazing view of Yelapan sunsets, the beach and town. We really enjoyed being immersed in the jungle charm with the birds. butterflies (so many butterflies) and critters. This is far from our quiet Canadian experience and that is why we go on vacation! There were a few leaky taps but the casa has a rustic charm that out weighed any complaints. we can fully appreciate the fact that somebody at some point had to carry every single little bit of that house up that hill. WORTH EVERY STEP!

Absolutely stunning views in very private location

A group of ten of us stayed at this wonderful home for ten days. Although it can sleep 13 it doesn’t allow for much privacy. There are only 3 bedrooms, one of which is open air, but we made it work well for all of us. If you don’t mind bunking up or the 300 stairs up it’s the best place I’ve stayed in yelapa. The beds were all very comfortable which is a big bonus when traveling around Mexico. Being up the hill allows for great views and being at eye level with so many birds. The landscaping is beautiful and having the pool, although a bit chilly in January, is a must after all the stairs. Overall it was all we could have asked for. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing, magical place. A dream vacation

Loved everything about Yelapa, the Casa del Sol and Chaz and Brett. They are amazing people and have created a beautiful, artsy, comfortable, homey spot to spend time soaking up the beauty, charm and lifestyle that is uniquely Yelapa. Can’t wait to come back next year. And if you are a dog lover, look up Hash, he is a true friend and mascot.

Julie. Its was a pleasure to meet you and your family. We are glad that you guys enjoyed our house, meeting some locals friends and falling in love with our dog "hash the flash. We are also glad that you got to see whales n the day trip we organized for you guys to Chimo along with good lobster, shirt and beers. Thank you for leaving the house so clean and in order. We loved the house...

We have been coming to Yelapa for a long time and this trip was by far our best. The house was everything we had expected. Owners really paid attention to detail. The view was out of this world. The pool made the trip for us. Its a couple minutes walk down to the beach. All the modern amenities made it a very comfortable stay. We will be back for sure. Thank you.
