Are you looking for the experience of a rustic Alaskan cabin with modern comforts? Do you want to be close to Denali Park but in a quiet, peaceful setting? Nagget'si (Red Fox) Cabin is just that. This cabin was built in the 1980's by a local business owner as a personal residence. The cabin exterior was left in its rustic, original state and its interior was gutted and remodeled. There is a screened porch with views of the Alaska range.
This revamped little cabin held everything we needed for a couple night stay while visiting Denali. The cabin was exceptionally clean & the location was quiet! The determining factors for us were laundry capabilities, log cabin feel, mountain viewâs, quiet/remote location & close to DNP. We were excited to find moose poop outside the cabin (not fresh) so knew theyâd be there, but never got the opportunity to see one. There are other cabins on the property & most need some updating but most didnât appear to occupied during our stay. We definitely recommend this cabin if youâre coming to the area. (Look for signs on the road for Bluesberry Inn - itâs the same driveway.)
Great place to stay away from the busyness of Denali park. It was a short 20ish minute drive to the park but without all the people and noise. The exterior is pretty rustic and there is very little else around but the inside is really nice and recently renovated. Pull out couch bed worked great for our 2 younger kids and otherwise had everything we needed after a long day in the park.
Great property! Not far from Denali park entrance (30 min)
Excellent communication from hosts! Interior of cabin is immaculate! Bed in the primary bedroom is very comfortable. Area is very quiet. Great amenities (including washer/dryer and all kitchen appliances. View of mountains from porch.
