The house was nice. It was listed that it had a hot tube, which was one of the reasons that I booked this property. The host advised that the hot tube recently had a problem and "may not be working" for our stay, this was the day before we arrived. I looked under the cover and it was obvious that it hadn't worked or been used in a very long time. I felt this was mis-represented. There was also an ant problem in the house... bathrooms and master bedroom. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
The house was perfect for our weekend. Very clean and the owner was very involved, ensuring our stay was great. I would recommend this house to anyone coming into the area.
Very clean and beautiful house in a great area. We enjoyed pool table, fire pit and the hot tub. Located very close to many different attractions. I recommend this place.
The house and grounds were wonderful, Todd made sure the propane for the grill was full, the hot tub was ready, and a couple of cold ones in the fridge! Everything was perfect, mom wanted to move the house back to Ohio! We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Elkhart Lake.
What a great place to stay. The host was extremely accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Very nice clean, comfortable home. Our family of 8 really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Todd!
House is great, very comfortable, good location, plenty of space and Todd is very helpful. This is our second time renting from him. We had a really good time and look forward to visiting again.
I think the pictures don't do the place justice. It was spotless and very comfortable. The owner was great with communication and we all hope to stay again.
Todd made our stay feel like home. The home was clean, the yard was spacious with plenty of outdoor seating for relaxation, grilling out, bonfires, and enjoying a drink while overlooking the beautiful hills of the area. The home was stocked with plenty of towels, beds and the kitchen was equipped with basic necessities for cooking. Todd's home is very clean, there was use of the garage and pool table downstairs. Communication was instant. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises.
The House is spacious, very comfortable for all six of our adults and very well stocked for our stay. Todd, the owner, was so responsive from the time we booked to our arrival, stay and departure. He made sure everything was just right for us. We really enjoyed the trees/views and privacy of this home, as well as how close it was to Road America and Elkhart Lake's restaurants. Looking forward to staying again.
We are a large family that ended up needing to find a house last minute on a holiday weekend. The host was fantastic and communicated quickly. The house was exactly as described and in a beautiful community. We enjoyed the back deck and the hot tub and enjoyed playing pool in the downstairs area. I would highly recommend staying with this host! He even made sure that our littlest one's stuffy made it back to us after he was left behind.
Nice house, well maintained, neat, clean, very close to EL by car (a couple of minutes).
Good experience overall. The host is communicative and very helpful. Lots of upgrades on a huge well maintained lot with good privacy. The only issue I had was that there was too much air freshener (various plug ins) for my liking. The pool table downstairs was a plus. Big garage area and quiet.
We were invited to a wedding at the Osthoff. So we were looking for a place nearby. We were traveling with our dog and our teenage Son. The house had a back yard and quiet neighborhood to walk the dog. The house had a pool table - that was the highlight for our Son! The location worked well for the wedding. We were able to get to the wedding and then back to relax at the house. Our Host was gracious and welcoming. He worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed for our stay. He also made himself available for questions during our stay. Our Family enjoyed our visit to Elkhart Lake. Thank you for hosting us!
We had a great stay with Todd, the house was very clean and was about 5 minutes from downtown which was nice to be close. The yard was big for our kids to play and the neighborhood was quite. The only part that was a bit challenging for us is that there was a lot of breakable items (clocks, flower pots, bottles of wine, glass tables). We have three kids all under 5. So we did have to move some things to the closet to avoid our kids breaking something. Obviously nothing against the home, but if you are coming with kids, just something to prep for. Thanks for the stay!
Born and raised in the area. Back for a family reunion.
The house fit our needs perfectly and was well stocked.
Todd was a great host. He kept in touch to make sure everything was going OK and that we were comfortable.
We would not hesitate to stay here again!
We chose this rental because we have family in the area. The home sits up a bit higher and has a gorgeous view-we timed it just perfect for the fall leaves changing. For us, it was centrally located to our needs in meeting up with several different families. The home and grounds are very well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are good sized, washer/dryer conveniently located in basement and the living room was very comfortable to relax in. There is a pool table in basement as well, along with more beds, plus a hot tub in the back yard but we didnât use any of that due to our visit being about seeing people we hadnât seen in 25 years.
If youâre looking for a real home away from home, in my opinion this is it.
No issues with the owner, he made it very clear he was available should we need anything, but for us nothing more was needed. Our stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice house, plenty of room, clean and well stocked. Todd was so very accommodating and responded quickly to our every question and came out to greet us. Very quiet neighborhood, listened to the owls in the early morning and clear starlit nights! Hated to leave.
Myself, my brother, and some friends rented this house to celebrate a bachelor party, including hanging out, relaxing, playing games, and spending time with friends who do not live nearby. The house was clean, roomy, and able to comfortably sleep 10 people. Also, the outdoor area was great for relaxing and playing games and the pool table downstairs was great for later at night.
House was convenient to Road America. Very clean, comfortable and bigger than expected. Pool table and hot tub were great. Owner was very helpful and quick to reply. We had a great time.
We were a party of 7 and the house was perfect. The house is nicer than the photos would indicate. An unexpected treat. No surprises, perfect for our group.
The house is conveniently located within minutes of downtown Elkhart Lake. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could imagine. It easily accommodated 7 in our party and our dog loved the zip line in the beautiful backyard. Todd was incredibly accommodating and so easy to contact. We will definitely plan to stay here again and have already recommended it to our friends and family that visit Road America often.
Todd was extremely communicative and helped everything go smoothly. Check-in/check-out was as breeze. Home itself was super clean and had three (!) bathrooms and Todd set up additional beds to accommodate our 7-person group. Hot tub was also a hit! Downtown attractions are 5m or less away, and the boat launch is right down the street. Highly recommend!
The owner was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and the house was in excellent condition: clean, plentiful items (like water and coffee to make you feel at home) and the location was perfect. Very close to downtown Elkhart Lake and Road America. Will likely stay again!
