The apartment is beautiful with a fantastic location downtown. Easy access to museums and restaurants.Host was very responsive, courteous and accommodating. Will definitely see if the apartment is open to rent the next time we come through town.
It was very clean, large and well organized. Beautifully decorated and everthing worked well. It had everything we needed. We were very comfortable and it felt very homie. Located on main street but we could not hear any strreet noise. There is a very charming coffee shop directly below opening soon. We got to sample and the iced coffee was delicious. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again!
What a cute property. I stayed for 6 nights and was very happy with the apartment. The host was super responsive and the property was just as nice as the listing. I told all my family about it and we hope to come back in a few months for the start of fall. Definitely a great option when traveling to/around Lafayette county.
We were looking for a Girl Trip location in KC. When we saw this cute upstairs apartment, we decided to trade the city location for a "historic small town" adventure. We are so glad we did! The location was convenient, about 30mins from Liberty/KC. The place was very clean and offered extras like a blowup mattress/extra bedding. Owner was great with communication. It was fun staying on main street. We walked to antique shops and a few boutiques. Be sure you grab a delish coffee and peruse the bookstore a few doors down. We were in walking distance from many restaurants... the Feed Mill, Ten Twelve (a gorgeous old bank turned restaurant) and a Mexican place was right across the street. This feels like an up-coming town with a few empty shops in between the current ones. Lots of room for city growth/new biz. Would be a great setting for a Hallmark movie with the amazing architecture everywhere. We took many walks to look at the old buildings and enjoy reading the historical plaques. Lots of Santa Fe Trail and War History to discover. I think there is a museum or two, but we didn't go. As we were leaving on Sunday they were setting up for "Second Sundays". It looked like a Farmers Market with people playing music and the downtown shops open to the public. Wish we could've stayed for it!
