Do you want to go to Germany but can't cross the big pond right now? Escape to Helen in this cozy cabin nestled in the spectacular year-round beauty of the North Georgia mountains instead!

Walk up to a spacious private covered porch with rocking chairs to sit and listen to the birds sing. Your worries start to melt away immediately and you enjoy being surrounded by nature. You can even enjoy your meals outside at the picnic table. Make a plan to soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring. Inside this sweet cabin you’ll feel right at home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Hazel's Hideaway features a fully-equipped kitchen for making morning coffee, prepping meals between adventures, and delighting in those treats you found at the bakery in town. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo. A cozy living room awaits you with a gas fireplace (October-April) , Smart TV and a comfy couch. In the upstairs loft, you will find a comfortable King size bed for a restful night. For additional sleeping space, the living room features a small sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress.

We loved Hazel Haus. Super quiet, cozy. At the end of the road. Private in the woods and only a few minutes from all of the attractions. The hotbtub was a real asset.

The cabin was fantastic. It was clean and very cozy. The hot tub was so nice after days of hiking. The bed was very comfortable and i slept great while there. My dog really loved the fireplace and sotting on the porch watching all the happenings in the woods. The cabin is close to everythijg north Georgia had to offer and was cloae to great hiking trails. It was very easy to communicate if i had any questions and Nicole was very responsive. I would definitely return. It was a really nice week.

This cabin is the perfect getaway. Located in the perfect spot if you want to venture to Helen or any of the other attractions in the area. It’s very clean and comfy. I look forward to going back next year for my end of summer vacation.

Wonderful location. Quiet area in the woods, close to Helen and minutes from Unicoi State Park along with other hiking trails. The cabin was vary cute, we enjoyed the hot tub. The place is all open comcept so good for a couple. Great dog friendly cabin. A good location to explore all of the NE Georgia mountains.

Quick weekend wedding to attend. Was very close to the wedding venue at Unicoi State Park. Loved the pet friendly cabin. This cabin is up a one path rock road, but our 4 door car got there fine. Nicely secluded but just a short drive to downtown Helen and close to some great trails. Also close to Anna Ruby Falls which was beautiful. Loved the hot tub and the fireplace in the cabin.
Our dog loved the cabin porch.

Fabulous!

Cute and cozy cabin! Perfect get-a-way for a couple! We loved the deck area with the picnic table, rocking chairs and hot tub! Secluded enough for some privacy but still close to downtown Helen with a short car ride. Adorable German theme and comfortable bed!

The cabin is nice & clean. While outside you could hear the road on the other side of hill but not while inside. Wished it had been a little more secluded but it was adequate. Also need salt in the kitchen plenty of sugar & coffee but no salt.

It was perfect for myself,my husband and our fur baby. Loved having the hot tub and the grill right outside the door. The rocking chairs and picnic table was a great touch. The big king size bed was very comfy. We appreciate that you all thought about the fur babies by providing bowls and towels. We had a great time and be back soon.

I really enjoyed the isolation for the night. Yeah I could have stayed in a hotel and saved a little money, but I really enjoyed going on a hike, hitting the hot tub, and then coming back into the cabin. It's like being at your grandparents' house, but they have all the amenities you could possibly need and the cabin is clean, the decor is humble, and everything is set up purely for comfort. We had a great stay at Hazel’s Haus! The cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We enjoyed the privacy and being tucked in amongst the trees. Even though we only stayed two nights, we made great use of the grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Inside, the house was clean and comfortable. We appreciated all the little “extras” that were provided, such as paper products, extra towels, and k cups for the coffee maker. Our biggest regret was not booking for more nights. We will definitely be back in the future!

The cabin smelled of a damp/mold smell. The extra blankets smelled un clean. The cabin was clean in appearance, but a deep clean wouldn't hurt. The location is good. The outdoor trash can was full and not emptied from the previous guest.

Thank you for the honest feedback. We have since done work to control the humidity and have also switched cleaning companies and we have had all great reviews since we made those changes.

Great Communication

This is a cute little cabin only minutes from Unicoi State park and Anna Ruby Falls, and about 10 minutes from the town of Helen. Check in and check out were super easy and communication with the property manager was excellent. When we arrived there were a few cleaning issues, however, that was rectified and the property manager has advised that she has hired a new company. There is a nice size hot tub on the deck and a fire pit outside. There was also a nice new gas grill on the deck, we made a couple great meals on that. Overall, we really liked the area and we would stay in this cabin again!

Guest never even came to our cabin, never checked in. She messaged us 2 days prior to check in stating that she has to work and cannot make it now. Asked to change dates which we can not do that close to arrival. She never actually canceled she just asked and never responded nor requested a cancelation. She was sent all access information and it was available for her had she chosen to use it. She rated us poorly because of her own schedule issues and that we did not make an exception to public cancelation policy to refund her.
