He and his beloved wife, a former Newsweek reporter and Art Historian, raised their family and lived in the home for 55 years, until 2023. The house has 4 bedrooms, featuring 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds, and 1 king bed. Floor 1 and 3 both have full tiled baths with bathtub/shower. The main floor features a tiled shower.

With comfortable bedrooms, an expansive living room, two den / office spaces and thoughtful touches throughout, this home blends comfort and elegance. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks on the front deck or covered back porch, surrounded by nature and birdsongs. If it gets chilly, switch on one of the cozy natural-gas franklin stove style fireplaces. The house does not have Air Conditioning, but usually stays cool surrounded by tall pines and maples and breezes blowing through. The 1st floor is always about 10º F cooler as it's built into the hillside.
