Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen sized beds) with blackout shades; 1 bathroom with separate shower and bathtub (the bathtub is original to the 1907 building); a balcony accessed through one of the bedrooms; and an upstairs deck with views of the southern Sawatch Range to the west and Tenderfoot Hill at the base of town.
Downstairs includes a large living room with smart TV (no cable), dining room and new kitchen. There is a mudroom and laundry area with washer and dryer and access to the rear of the property where you'll find a fenced backyard and off-street parking. There's a special space set up under the stairs for our youngest visitors complete with chandelier, bookcase and table.
Diagonally across the street is Alpine park, the site of the summer farmers' market. With a playground and basketball court it's a great place for kids. There is also an EV charging station right on the corner.
Four blocks away is Riverside Park with a river walk, playground and the site of multiple summer festivals. Along the way you'll pass multiple shops and restaurants. If you prefer to eat at home you're only a 3 minute walk to 2 grocery stores.
This is a fantastic place to stay for those that appreciate attention to detail: from the original artwork to the antique furniture to the small amenities that make your stay more comfortable.
Please note: the bathroom and all 3 bedrooms are on the second floor. There are steps into the house at both the front and back doors.
