"Duskhaven 1875" is unlike any place you've ever stayed! Originally built as a small family home in 1875, when Ulysses S. Grant was president, it has been expanded over the years, moving kitchens, adding rooms, and turning patios, porches, and mudrooms into additional living space.

Our guests are treated to a spacious home that maintains its historic charm while being fresh, modern, and clean. It's the perfect couple or family getaway.

With multiple sitting rooms, living room, a library, full kitchen, game room, and 3 large-screen TVs, you'll fill every moment of your stay exactly as you deserve. Whether you spend your time in quiet solitude, with loud music or movies, or laughing with friends and family during a night of fun and games, not a moment will be wasted.

When you're ready to explore the area, we're not too far from Pro Football HOF, 20 golf courses, more than a dozen breweries, half a dozen wineries, the Canton Arts District, local shopping and antiquing, a number of lakes and rivers for boatng and hiking, museums, train rides, historic experiences, and Amish Country.

Duskhaven 1875 has central heat and air, but with an old house like this, you'll find temperature differences between rooms. You'll find ceiling fans in almost every room help disperse air throughout, though keep in mind that some rooms are cooler or warmer than others. We provide supplemental AC in the upstairs bedrooms and a heater in the basement game room when needed.

The primary bedroom is along Cleveland Avenue, which can be a busy street. We have provided a white noise machine that does a great job of drowning out most car noise while you sleep. Earplugs are also provided.

The home is not toddler-proof and has steep stairs to the other floors. There are no real hazards, but please be cautious. We want you to be safe and come back!

In addition to the primary en suite, there is one bedroom on the main floor, another upstairs, and additional bedding in the basement game room. Each bed sleeps two.
