Downtown Luxury â Dual Loft â Walkable to Broadway
The Cohen Loft building is a beautifully restored three story dwelling in the heart of downtown Nashville. Originally built in the late 1800âs the building was constructed as a Renaissance Revival-style building by Meyer and Etta Brinkley Cohen.
The Meyer and Etta Lofts are located inside the historic Cohen Building. Each loft is made up of over 3,000+ square foot living space.
The couple owned a lucrative jewelry shop on the first floor and occupied the top two levels as their lavish downtown residence. Mrs. Cohen lived and entertained here from the time of her marriage in 1897 until 1930 at the time of her death. She was well known around Nashville for her extravagant parties. The Cohen Building is a piece of history with longtime roots in the downtown Nashville community.
In 2012 Sanders Pace Architectural firm was hired to restore the building and create a custom residential loft dwelling on the third floor for the-still current majority owner of The Cohen, Betsy & Ryan Chapman, as well as buildouts for the original corporate headquarters of both Nashville-based, Giarratana Development and Premier Parking (now known as Metropolis Technologies, Inc) and the Modern Trousseau wedding dress shop on the 1st floor.
In 2014, the Chapmanâs had expanded their family with a little one, paving the way for the current design, which was completed in 2021. To finish out a one of a kind stay, the first floor became the home to the Nashville Barrell Company, a custom whiskey tasting experience and lounge to help round out your Nashville experience.
Each of the 3055 square foot vacation rentals are a one of a kind luxury retreat steps away from Broadway and all of Nashvilleâs finest attractions and destinations.

Guests have access to both lofts, the building elevator and street-level entrance lobby (for entrance and exit of the premises), and up to 4, FREE parking spaces located in the covered garage next door.
Your host will be available daily from 8am-11pm via the booking site or app. For accountability and documentation reasons, please refrain from calling us or contacting us outside of the booking app, except in case of emergency.
Emergencies occurring outside of business hours above will be directed to host emergency line for assistance. If you feel that you are in need of immediate emergency services (police, fire, medical, etc.) please don't hesitate to call these services.
Nashvilleâs wide variety of restaurants, music, entertainment, sports and more attract visitors from all around the world. All of Nashvilleâs most famous attractions are at your fingertips when you stay at the Cohen Loft. Enjoy a classic southern meal at Puckettâs just outside your front door, then head down to the Ryman, the âMother Church of Country Musicâ for a live concert; the possibilities are endless! Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, an iron and ironing board are located in the laundry room. There are wood clothes hangers in the master bedroom closet that may be utilized by guests during their stay.
Fireplaces are turned off and not operational.
Windows in the unit should not be opened unless in an emergency. The windows are original to the building and can be very difficult to open and close.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles during your stay.

GUEST RENTAL POLICY
Adults 25+ Please check ALL drawers and cupboards carefully before you depart to ensure you have all of your belongings. We are not responsible for any items left at the property or for the shipping of said items. If an item is left behind and we are able to retrieve it, we have a $75 fee to ship any items back to you.
Check out & damage deposit. We send a departure check list and ask that you follow it and leave the property in a neat and tidy condition. We donât ask our cleaning team to move large items of furniture around, so we request that you return all furniture to its original location. We donât like to make claims on the damage deposit but if our cleaning staff has to spend additional time above and beyond their allocated hours, to make the property ready for our next guests, we will charge for the additional time.
Failure of essential and non-essential appliances and facilities Please let us know immediately if there is any equipment that is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs made as soon as possible; however, there are limited service contractors in our areas, particularly on evenings or weekends. If a breakdown should occur to fundamental elements such as water systems, plumbing and electrical systems, and major appliances such as stove or refrigerator, every effort will be made to repair or replace, or an appropriate refund will be made for the inconvenience caused. No reduction of rent, rebate, or refund will be issued for a mechanical failure of nonessential appliances including but not limited to dishwasher, washer, dryer, entertainment systems.
Please note: If the police are called or the neighbors complain about the noise level or any other types of privacy disruptions, we are subject to take your deposit on the stay. We absolutely never want to do this, but if a situation calls for it we will.
