Your stay at Hamilton Cottage offers the following:

- Hikes for miles: Pick your choosing among scores of nearby trails. Whatever your preferences for distance and difficulty, there's a scenic hike for you!
- Breweries/Wineries/Cideries: Don't miss Treehouse, one of the most popular craft breweries in the nation and an absolute must for any beer enthusiast. Oakland Farm & Brewery offers live weekend music in the warmer months and food trucks, and have an Artisan Fair the first Friday of every month from May - October. Also nearby are Altruist Brewery, Stafford Cidery, and Brimfield Winery & Cidery.
- Old Sturbridge Village: A must visit! Showcasing life in colonial New England, see animals, pastures, a Blacksmith, shoe cobbler, and more! Be sure to check out their seasonal events.
- Farmers Markets: Warmer months bring fresh veggies, fruit and meat to nearby Sturbridge and Brimfield.

- Breakfast: Traveler Restaurant is 3 minutes from the cottage and serves up a delicious breakfast. It's also a library — bring home 3 free books! A short drive further but equally fantastic are Apple Barn, Sawdust, Cedar St. Cafe and Sturbridge Coffeehouse.
- Lunch and Dinner: Maine Attraction offers seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and ice cream at the lake. Nearby, you can't go wrong with any of Condesa (Mexican), The Duck (upscale American), Sturbridge Porterhouse (steakhouse), Teddy G's (pub & grill), Baba or Kaizen (sushi), B.T.'s Smokehouse (BBQ), or 413 On Main (charcuterie and sandwiches).
GROCERY SHOPPING:
- The cottage is 10-15 minutes from Stop & Shop and Shaws.
- Prepared Food: Micknucks, a community favorite, serves up wraps and other grab and go options. They also have a selection of wine and beer and other picnic staples. Hearthstone Market offers fresh, home-cooked meals to-go that you can heat up and enjoy!

Guest access
The cottage has a driveway that comfortably accommodates 3 - 4 cars. The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful.
Other things to note
Pets are not allowed at the cottage and there is a $500 charge if we find pet hair/dander or other signs of a pet being at the cottage. Thank you for respecting this policy.
