Une destination de vacances classique du Maine! Ernest Thompson est resté sur Long Pond tout en écrivant son jeu 1979 "On Golden Pond". Notre établissement est l'une des plus belles vues sur l'extrémité sud de ce fameux lac, et vous pouvez profiter de tout cela à l'intérieur de l'écran de nos pont 12'x24. Ce chalet conçu sur mesure offre toute l'intimité et commodités que vous cherchez dans une location de vacances. Idéal pour un couple, en couple ou petite famille à la recherche d'un havre de détente à kayak, pêche ou en bateau. Nous offrons une cuisine neuve, salle de bains et trois chambres avec deux lits doubles et deux construite en lits jumeaux. Tout est neuf et haute qualité, y compris les draps, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine. Nous avons aussi une laveuse et sécheuse, WiFi, plateforme de bain, grand quai flottant, autre amarrage, et de nombreux miles de routes tranquilles calmes de marcher votre animal de compagnie ou du jogging. Long Pond propose près de 3000 hectares de belles eaux du Maine avec les îles, les pins, les huards et pygargues à tête blanche. Plus que suffisant pour une grande semaine de kayak, le canotage ou quel que soit vos intérêts d'été sont. Long Pond est un lac profond claire et idéale pour la baignade. De tous les lacs Beldgrade, Long Pond est la moins développée et la plus primitive. En voiture ou aller en bateau de la ville de Belgrade Lakes pour le dîner ou la crème glacée. Une zone d'été classique de vacances, Long Pond et la région des lacs de Belgrade sont sûrs de plaire. Environ 3 heures de Boston.

The view is awesome, very quiet for a relaxing getaway. Close enough for day trips to Acadia and Rockland/Camden.

PERFECT!

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our vacation getaway! It was very comfortable - nicely decorated, and the porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place to hang. The one small drawback was that the dish network was out (probably from recent storms) but that wasn't a big deal for us. We loved every minute of our stay!

Paddling vacation

The cottage and its location were perfect for us. We brought our kayaks and explored almost every corner of the large lake during our week stay. The lake is relatively calm, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming. The dock is a great place to relax and catch the morning sun. The cottage had everything we needed!

Perfect Family Vacation

Have stayed at this house before, loved it then and loved it this time too! Perfect location! Had everything we needed! It was the perfect vacation! Day trips to all the "touristy" places and then returned to the peace and quiet! Our family had great success fishing and were able to moor the boat right at the dock in front of the house! Our family has stayed at Scott's neighboring property and it is equally perfect! Will definitely stay there again!

Great Spot

Spent a week here with our three children and 2 dogs. The place was great, fishing was great...son caught a very large pike but I couldn't seem to upload a photo on VRBO. I was also surprised that the boat traffic wasn't too bad given the size of the lake. Would surely stay again.

Excellent stay

We had a great time in Maine and this property was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as described on Vrbo. We communicated with Scott the owner when needed and he was very responsive to our questions. The location was central to local shopping for groceries (Day’s). The property was also within 30 mins to other towns that were of interest. Nice weather allowed us to hike some of the local trails, and the views were over the top. We were able to see the northern lights right from the dock. Overall a great relaxing vacation and stay. Thanks

What an adorable place! Located right next to the shoreline. All the comforts of home!

We were looking for perfect little spot on a quiet lake and this fit the bill! Adorable, well maintained and well constructed home with a cute cottage look. The best part was the location. The porch overlooked the lake and the views were spectacular. Plenty of room for our family. Cozy, yet room to move. All of the comforts of home but a much better view!

Fairytale cottage with all modern comforts

Every corner of the lakeside cottage was adorable and charming, with every room having architectural detail and on point decor. Immaculately clean with a beautiful view and great dock with a swim raft as well. Air conditioning in every room! Super sunny charming bedrooms! Never had a kitchen well stocked with spices and foil/saran wrap, etc. before, what a treat. We and our dogs absolutely loved it! Can't recommend it highly enough.

Wow- a fabulous cozy cottage on the lake

This cottage was awesome! It was quite chilly while we were there so we did not go in the lake. But the cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable. It had every supply that you could possibly need. We had our two fur babies with us and they loved it. The dirt road goes on forever - we took walks on the dirt road every morning and evening. It was beautiful. Scott was very responsive to any of my questions . Looking at at the lake from the screened in porch,and the living room was an amazing view of the lake and so serene. I would highly recommend this cottage as a place to stay in the spring, summer and/or fall! Thanks Scott for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with us!

Lovely Family Retreat

We can’t say enough about this cottage. Tastefully updated. Private. Amazing screened in porch with panoramic views of the lake. Perfect dock + floating dock combo. Tucked away in a nice little cove with perfect temperate water and terrain for swimming. We’ve stayed at 5 different spots on Belgrade Lakes and this was our favorite. A bit of a drive to town but still worth it. If we could do over, would rent a fishing boat from Castle Island and that would negate the distance from town by giving a straight across the lake option for errands or dinner/ice cream. Would recommend to all!

Beautiful retreat

Loved every minute of our stay here. Crystal clear lake, beautiful view, cozy and comfortable cottage. Spent the majority of our inside time on the screened porch - great for reading, eating meals or just sitting and listening to the loons and the sound of the water lapping against the shoreline. Great lake for kayaking. We rented kayaks from Belgrade Boat Storage & Marine. They did a great job, dropped off and picked up several days later. Hoping to return next year. Thank you Scott and Lorraine. You have a true gem with this location, thank you for sharing it.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the serenity of the pristine lakefront property. Scott replied immediately to some minor issues, and overall everything provided in the cabin was practical and comfortable. We rented a small motor boat nearby and were able to dock it at the cabin. I even caught a good sized bass right from the dock!

Tranquility and Serenity

This was one of the best places I have stayed. Two friends of mine and I usually do a girls paddle week at the lake. This year, my husband was with me for the first part of the week and friends arrived for second part. All was great! The lake, the kayaking (we had our own) and the peacefulness of Long Pond. We were all so happy with this cabin! It had everything we needed and was pristine! Thank you Scott for a great week!!

Wonderful Spot

We’ve been vacationing in the Belgrade lakes for the past 5 years. We usually like to mix it up and change lakes and find new places. I don’t think we will be doing that anymore. We have found the perfect spot and plan to return to this house next year. We loved it!

Graduation Celebration

Our stay at the Belgrade Lakes cabin was the perfect way to celebrate our son’s graduation. The setting is remote and peaceful. The porch overlooking the lake was the perfect space to hang out with our adult kids and catch up. The birdwatching was fun - we saw, loons, owls and egrets while eating dinner on the porch- the view of the lake is really special! The cabin is super tidy and has everything you need to serve a meal for five. It’s also decorated in a cute fishing theme - although we didn’t hook any- we know they were there. The kids had a golf outing at Belegrade Lakes. We dined at Slates in Hallowell, the Woodshed in Manchester and Front and Main in Waterville- all the outings were unique and special- although a bit far away. My only regret is that I didn’t have a few more days to hang out, fish and draw and soak up this beautiful spot.

PEACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL!!!

I can’t say enough about this little gem!! It is located on a beautiful pristine lake that has to be one of the most peaceful locations we’ve ever stayed. We brought our kayaks and we’re the only ones out on the water, other than the 2 loons that joined us!!! A very special place! Decorated beautifully and clean!!! This property had the best location we had seen on Long Pond, we couldn't resist the view, clear water and privacy.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The best thing about this cottage is that you are in 'real' cottage country when you are here. There are no long strips of overdevelopment on your drive to our place, and there no noisy highways, or large resort operations on this lake chain. We are at the end of a beautiful, quiet, country road, with great privacy. Best of all, the heavily forested shoreline of the lake means that when you are on the water, you see trees and loons, not cottages!
