À propos de cet hébergement
Tuckers Tack Room Private Bedroom and Bathroom
Tucker's Tack Room offers guests a private bedroom, full bath and private entrance. It is located in the main lodge at Fort Austin, in the heart of Paonia's wine country. Adjustable queen bed with Tempur Pedic mattress. Guests enjoy incredible mountain views, easy access, starlit nights and relaxing privacy on a small working farm. You are invited to hang out on the huge covered porch at the main lodge to soak in the view, bask in the shade, or walk through the orchard.
We are located in the hear of Paonia's Wine Country. Magnificent mountain views, unique architecture, relaxing vibe and farm/orchard setting allow guests to slow down and just be. When you are here you don't have to go, or do, or accomplish anything, you can just be.
Fort Austin provides 5 log cabins, 3 deluxe suites, permanent fire pit, huge log porch, pavilion and a grain bin bath house on our small event venue. Guests in Ben's Quarters are welcome to hang out in any of the common areas when events are not scheduled.
Free on-site parking is available on either side of the driveway. Ben's Quarters is located in the main lodge, in the northeast corner. It is accessed via landscape stairs beside the driveway and brick pavers across the lawn.
Tim is often working on the farm and available for questions or ideas for local attractions. His family moved to Paonia in 1970 so he can generally help you find anything in the valley you are looking for. He can help you find the most popular spots or places nobody knows about. He loves interacting with and conversing with guests. He loves this valley, this state and this country and his enthusiasm and positive outlook are refreshing.
Tim's farm is in a rural setting surrounded by other small farms raising horses, cattle, hay and fruit. Within a mile you will find a half dozen wineries, dining, river access, and the town park. Jumbo Mountain bike trails have become a popular place for trail rides.
You can bike or walk to town.
