Whereas the view was spectacular and the bed very comfortable, the rest of the house was lacking. The carpets and blinds were filthy. We had to clean off the deck furniture to be able to sit down. There were only a couple screen on the windows so we had to open a screeless slider to the deck, which by the way didn't lock. We had to use a stick. In the kitchen, one coffee pot didn't work and there was no instructions on the other. It took us a while to figure it out. I had to clean the pans before I used them. One was covered in grease. AND then there were the ants. Even though we followed the instructions for keeping the counters clean and dry, there were sugar ants everywhere. There were old ant traps on the counters that were useless. One other thing...they said the front door would lock after 10 minutes...it didn't. We had to go out through the basement. We are pretty easy going people, but this place was so lacking, we left a day early.
