My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, and we really enjoyed being right on the water and the access to the dock. The hot tub was a plus, as well as the water trampoline! We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Very cool spot with lots of fun things -hot tub, lake, games and close to excellent hiking. Host communication provided several ways to learn about check in. Kitchen was hard to cook in (poor lighting and minimal equipment) —the place wasn’t very clean but the host said it met his standards —so it is what it is. Not bad for a rustic escape!

We had a great time at this property! Plenty of space for everyone. Loved using the trampoline out on the lake! Jason was prompt at getting back with me as well! Highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing vacation! Looking forward to staying again soon!

An early weekday getaway was a great way to start our week! Comfy indoor and outdoor living/relaxing areas made the lake views extra special. The Host was quick to respond to any questions and made us feel ‘at home’ at the Barndo! Extra large trees on the property provide ample shade through the day when living lakeside. Sturdy dock and seating area (plus a swing) provide a special place to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon libation! Shopping and local dining are conveniently located nearby in the town of Norwood, NC.

A kid's paradise! If you want your children to put down the technology, and create their own fun, then this is the place for you! The large bunk room/loft area allows for your kids to bring along plenty of friends! With all of the provided water toys, like the lake mat, two kayaks, water trampoline, and plenty of floats, they will be on the lake for hours! The flat lot down to the water is an optimal space for yard games and ideal for your dog to run! Not having to navigate steps to get down to the water is a rare find! For all of these reasons, my family chooses this home on Tillery time and time again!

We spent our Spring Break at the Barndo and loved it! The house was quirky and fun with plenty of space for our whole family. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool table and hot tub. The bedrooms were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. The view was beautiful and the yard was nice for our dog to explore on her lead. Josh was a wonderful host, always made himself available and was very accommodating. We would definitely come back!

Everything was great! House had everything we needed. The kids had a great time. Location was nice. House was spacious, the pool table and hot tub were great amenities. I enjoyed the fire pit as well. Communication from our host was great! We really enjoyed our little weekend trip!

Amazing yard for family gathering, football, wiffle ball, running, swinging, fishing, and fire pit! The kids loved the hot tub and pool/ping pong table and we were so comfortable in the kitchen and ALL gathering on the extra large dining table, island table and couch area to play games! The loft was great for the kids and the king bedrooms were very comfortable too! We had such a great time over Thanksgiving!

The uniqueness of this property made it an awesome stay. Hot tub was great and the yard with dock access to the lake was perfect. We stayed with friends and the open floor plan allowed for everyone to do what they wanted or just sit an talk with eachother. Our stay was short but definately reccomend this to everyone. Property owner was extremely flexible, communications were outstanding and even provided local reccomendations.

Great family spot!

We had a great stay at Joshua’s Barndominium! The house was the perfect size for 2 families. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock, jumping on the water trampoline and playing wiffle ball in the yard! The beds were comfortable and we loved having all the indoor/outdoor seating options available! Definitely a place we would return to for a longer trip next time!

Host was outstanding! We will definitely stay again at this location. Understanding that rental properties are a challenge (to say the least), for both renter and owner. This property is awesome with just the right amount of eclectic to keep it interesting. As for the structure, it is a rental property that is kept in good condition, very minor things that could be addressed to make this an over and over again rental for folks / families looking for that perfect spot to gather.
