No. This is a smoke-free and vape-free property, both indoors and outdoors. Evidence of smoking or vaping will incur a $150 cleaning fee.

🕯️ May I use real candles or fresh rose petals?
No. For safety and cleanliness, open-flame candles and fresh petals aren’t allowed. Flame-free candles are provided for ambience. Faux rose petals are available only with the celebration add-on.

🛌 Who may stay overnight?
Only registered guests whose full names are listed on the reservation may stay overnight.

👥 Can I have visitors?

Guests assume all risk when using fireplaces or fire pits, release the host from liability, and agree to operate them safely. The Liability Waiver is part of the House Rules and applies to every booking.

In winter, the outdoor prep kitchen is limited to the worktop only.
Availability may be limited during heavy rain, snow, freezing weather or state fire restrictions.

✍️ What's the Writer's Retreat?
A rustic, off-grid screened sunroom for reading, writing, and reflection.
Includes: Comfy seating, writing desk, and a gel-fuel fireplace with approximately three hours of complimentary fuel. Extra fuel available for $15 (three cans).
Availability: Closed December–February. May also close during severe weather in other months.

🦊 Will I encounter wildlife or insects?
The suite sits within a woodland ecosystem. Occasional insects or wildlife such as foxes or possums may be seen—they’re part of the natural surroundings.
