A cozy cabin built in 2024. Overlooking the alpaca pasture. Very easy to get to and located in Minnesotaâs Lakes country. We have miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. We also have horses. Come check out this amazing property. The alpacas are very friendly and you will be able to hand feed them. If you have any questions donât hesitate to ask. Thank you!
The alpacas were fun to see, even had some family come out from Detroit Lakes so their little ones could see them and feed them. And they thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quaint vacation spot.
Kylar was an amazing host with more than any animal loving, outdoor boy could ask for. Alpacas, dogs, axe throwing, and more. The property was perfect for the three of us. Had a great time!
The farm is great. It even got my teens excited about the alpacas and horses. Amazing outdoor space and cozy indoor space. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
The Alpaca Cabin couldnât have been better for us. We brought two teenage kids and a golden retriever. The interior is so nice. Got to feed the alpacas. Lovely mature oak, walnut, and pine trees around the cabin and fire pit. Didnât get to try the sauna, but looks like just the thing for a cooler time of year. Highly recommended!
Dog heaven! We were visiting Fargo for Wrestling Nationals and the entire town was sold out. Luckily, we came across Alpaca Cabin. Well worth the quick 45 min drive east of Fargo. We came up with our two golden retrievers, which can be difficult in a hotel due to their size and activity level. Alpaca Cabin was perfect for our 3 night stay. Plenty of space for the dogs to run. Loved our stay and would definitely book again!
Before I left for this trip, I said âif the property ends up being nearly as good as the listing makes it seem, this is going to be a great tripâ and it turns out the property was exactly as listed. Cute place, lots of outdoor space, plenty of privacy (except of course, for the alpacas watching you every move ;) ). It felt rustic, while having amenities like AC and solid wifi. We just left and have already decided that we would love to return!
We wanted a quick getaway from the city and we were interested in seeing the troll sculptures around the Detroit Lakes area. This spot gave us the perfect homebase for a family of 3 for a 3 night stay. And our little dog enjoyed getting to come along. The farm landscape is beautiful, and feels private even with the main house just down the drive. The alpacas do keep an eye on you but that is definitely part of the charm and they were fun to interact with.
It is obvious that Kyler has put a lot of thought and effort into sharing his paradise. It is also so nice to have a spot where we can travel with our dogs. (3 allowed); and no weight restrictions on your dogs! The friendly herd of Alpacas were a special treat for all of us! Loved our stay!
It's our second time and I'm sure there will be a third. Kyler is a super host and the place really is magical. I usually wake up by 4 but slept in until 7 in the super comfy bed... The sounds of birds and gentle breezes through the beautiful pines. The alpacas are the super stars., Gentle and adorable. The property looks like a postcard with the lush trails, beautiful streams and beautiful pasture. Three kids had more fun than at Disneyland!! Thank you Kyler for a special couple days.
