A funky-chic one-bedroom apartment with a private entrance and a full kitchen.
The Mallard Building is an 1840s corner store building located in the heart of the historic Treme neighborhood. The apartment has a 12â by 12â bedroom with 14â ceilings. There is a ceiling fan and a new, powerful cooling and heating window unit. There is a full sized kitchen with a table to enjoy meals or a coffee. Cozy bathroom includes an antique clawfoot tub/shower.  A convenient foyer offers room for storing luggage and/or bikes. Television and wifi provided. We live in the building and are a phone call away in case of an emergency. We respect guests' privacy and space, but we are happy to provide recommendations to local food, music, and activities upon request.
The unit was pretty much as expected, but I do feel obliged to note that the bathroom poses a serious problem for anyone who is not small, young and nimble.
