Découvrez la maison loin de chez vous au Mark's Retreat. Doté de quatre chambres et de trois salles de bains, ce lodge de style ranch convient parfaitement à 11 personnes. La cuisine est dotée de plafonds voûtés spacieux, d'un grand espace salle à manger, d'une grande télévision à écran plat, d'un accès direct à la cour arrière ou à la terrasse enveloppante, et d'un magnifique foyer au gaz pour créer une ambiance chaleureuse à tout moment de la journée. S'ouvrant sur le salon avec de belles portes en bois et en verre, vous trouverez de nombreux sièges confortables et de la place pour regarder l'écran plat de 40 "monté au-dessus du foyer au gaz en pierre. Situées directement à côté du salon, deux charmantes chambres avec lits queen-size, reliées par une salle de bains "jack and jill" avec des portes ouvrant sur le salon et les deux chambres. Alors que vous continuez dans le couloir avec son éclairage encastré contemporain et son nouveau parquet en bois stratifié, vous trouverez la suite principale dotée d'un lit king-size et de deux fenêtres pour laisser le soleil du matin ou de l'après-midi pénétrer dans la pièce. Détendez-vous pendant vos temps d'arrêt avec le téléviseur mural à écran plat et accédez facilement à une salle de bains attenante. Le dernier mais non le moindre est une quatrième chambre avec un lit superposé et une belle armoire en bois avec télévision. Une belle terrasse enveloppante vous attend à l'extérieur, avec des accents de roche naturelle intégrés et de nombreux sièges pour que tout le monde se détende. Contre l'arrière-plan d'une cour arrière confortable, magnifiquement aménagée avec un foyer ouvert en pierre, est un porche fermé attaché au pont qui dispose de nombreux sièges et d'un foyer au gaz pour garder tout le monde au chaud par une nuit fraîche. L'ensemble de la propriété dispose d'une cour clôturée idéale pour vos amis à quatre pattes ou les jeunes membres de votre groupe qui souhaitent explorer mais qui ont besoin d'un espace sûr pour le faire. Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely time at Mark’s Retreat. Love the location and there was room for everyone. Making s’mores at the fire pit was definitely a highlight. This was our second time staying here and we would stay here again.

Getaway

Great get away. The house has plenty of room and great up to date amenities. We loved the beautiful backyard and fire pit area. The covered hot tub was a great feature on a cold rainy day. Great stay!!

Nice home. Had a great stay.

This was a great house. My only complaint is no screen on the fireplace which was too tempting for my 2 year old granddaughter. Had to move the love seat in front of it. Mouse poop in the kitchen.

Family trip

The location was great - quiet. The hot tub was a hit with the youngsters. The only negative aspects were lack of a dishwasher, which we compensated by using paper plates, and the indoor table did not accommodate as many people as the house holds. A fenced in backyard was great!

Great getaway

We had a very nice time at this cabin. It was spacious, well kept, and private. The only downfall is that the property next door was an eyesore. I'm surprised that the township hasn't done something about that.

Super home in a great location - Highly recommend

My wife, I, and several friends rented the property for a 3 night stay. The property was clean, in good condition, and was very spacious. TVs in every room, about 5 miles from downtow Ohiopyle, and a great outdoor space. The rooms are all very large. There is a covered deck with hot tub and chairs to sit and relax if it rains, a large table on the uncovered deck, and a fire pit. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the hime and would rent this property for another stay. Highly enjoyed the home and our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With the cold and snow rolling in and Christmas in the air we enjoyed the stay at the Farmington. The house added the ease of the stay with the yard and great layout of the house. We loved the dinning room table and that all 8 family could sit together and have a meal.

Wonderful VBRO!!

Strong recommend! Before our visit, communication was clear- check in details, amenities, what we should bring. Check out list provided as well. Everything was as advertised. Home was very clean, warm, spacious and comfortable; great location, quiet but near restaurants and sites. Lots of dishes, towels, linens; plenty of hot water; hot tub clean and at temperature. Easy to find, well marked. Beautiful area. No cell coverage in home (ended at main road) but Wi-Fi good. All details spot on and we would stay here again without question.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mark’s retreat was just lovely. Very clean and spacious. The yard and hot tub are great additions. Our visit was a short one to attend a holiday family get together but we would definitely go back for a longer visit. There is so much to do in the area. I just wish we could have used the fireplaces but the house was plenty warm. Can’t beat the huge kitchen table for gathering family or playing games. Huge living room accommodated everyone.

Beautiful house, but needs some updates

House was beautiful inside and very spacious! Had plenty of room to accommodate our group! Loved the huge fire pit and appreciated the hot tub ( even though we didn't get a chance to use it ). Response time with problems was excellent! Even on a Saturday! Our coffee pot wasnt working at all, and when we messaged through the VRBO app we had someone over to get us a new one within 30 minutes! Only critiques are the cabinets in the kitchen and the beds. The cabinets were sticky and very hard to open. Having a doorknob on each would make it much easier. The mattresses were also very lumpy and soft. The king bed mattress had large indentations Indicating that it was severely worn out. They were not the most comfortable. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again!

BEAUTIFUL SNOWY RETREAT

We had a houseful. 4 Adults, 4 Kids and 4 Dogs. Having a fenced in yard was a game changer being able to let them run without leashes. Had a legit 10" winter snow while there and made everything beautiful! Being able to have a fire in the enormous firepit was great and the hot tub area was awesome for morning coffee and 20 degree evenings and it being inside a covered area was awesome and allowed us to spend tons of time there. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or by themselves in a separate room. I wish there had been more cleaning supplies other than a broom as we would have done a better job with being able to mop up dirty areas but the house was pretty well stocked with everything we needed. Only ended up needed to buy a cutting board and some filters for the coffee pot but it had everything else we needed or a relaxing weekend. We had a really great time and would definitely revisit this location if invited back. Thanks Marks Retreat!

Nice cabin but could be better!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin was clean but we had a few problems with the general condition of the cabin:1) Based on prior comments, we were concerned about the lack of dishwasher so before going to the cabin, we asked if there is a dishwasher. We were informed that there is one but we didn't see it in the cabin. We asked the property manager on why we were told yes and they said they will check on that. Never heard back.2) There was a gas leak in the oven. We smelled gas and saw the blaze. The property manager said that they will check on that, didn't hear back.3) The fence in the back was open on one side of the house. Since we had our dog with us, I went in to close it by hand but there's a wasp nest right next to it and I got stung.We enjoyed Bittersweet Cafe, which is close to the cabin and loved it.

Not the stay I expected

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located about 5 minutes away from the Lady Luck Casino and other restaurant/shopping stores. The location is quiet and not off a busy road. We stayed at this location as it was convenient to our white water rafting adventure we were going on. However the location convenience was where the good stopped.Upon arrival we did a walkthrough to check for damages and anything else to note. One of the bedrooms smelled very foul, like an animal had died in the walls; the room with the bunkbeds. The bedroom closest to the laundry room was not very well insulated and was very hot and humid compared to the rest of the home. There was still trash around the trash bins outside that we noticed as well.The hot tub seemed to be in working order, but where it was located was very run down and filled with cobwebs. Doesn't seem like it had been used/cleaned in a while. One of the major issues we encountered was the stove not working properly. We preheated the oven and the house immediately filled up with the smell of propane. We called the reservation line and asked to have someone come out. Once maintenance showed up they told us we would be getting a new stove that same night, which we did not. We were asked if we could struggle it out with the current stove or get a replacement. We stated we would make it work until we got the new one. However the replacement never happened.The home has so much potential but it almost felt like it had been abandoned and not well taken care of. For the price this was very underwhelming and I would not recommend this to anyone looking to stay at a nice location in the area.

Great home and location

The check in and check out process was very easy and thorough. The home is about 6-7 miles from downtown Ohiopyle. Beautiful home. Was well maintained and was extremely clean when we arrived. Plenty of room to spread out, tvs everywhere, and a great outside space with a covered deck with hot tub, open deck area with picnic table and table and chairs. Fire pit and charcoal grill. Really a great place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Not actually well maintained and no one cared

The photos on VRBO are not current. The heater in the kitchen and the fireplace in the living room did not work. One wouldn't light and one wouldn't stay lit. The gas table outside had no gas so we were afraid to try it. The kitchen stove was very cheap, with not enough heat to cook any quantity of food. We called the phone number for help and only got an answering service: never a callback. The fence was down, and not going to work to keep in the dogs.
