Our family had a great time during our stay. The home was very well kept, comfortable, and well stocked with things like dishes, pillows, bedding and towels. At the Cabin on the 4th

Our family very much enjoyed our stay here. It was one of the best equipped kitchens we have encountered, and the beach is simply awesome for the little ones with the fine sand, clear water, and gradual depth.

We could not have picked a better property to stay at with the whole family. There was everything we needed and more. We traveled with 3 kids under 6 and the beach was perfect. The kids and adults spent most of every day swimming and fishing. The lake house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was very kind and extremely friendly. She responded quickly with any inquiries or concerns. We would not hesitate to go back. Great location and so close to town but you still feel out in the county. Neighbors are quiet and friendly. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

We loved our stay! It fit our group well with several cozy areas to relax and visit, many sleeping options, and space to spread out. We especially appreciated the many snuggly blankets, lovely thick bath towels, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. We also loved the thoughtfulness and detail that was done with the nice matching kitchenware that included plastic sets for outdoors, the nice insulated cups, the sound machines, and the games. The Arboretum was close for outdoor fun! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in this home! Our two families had plenty of space. The huge beach and fishing off the dock was amazing for the kids! The house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of bedding! Could use a few more beach towels! We would definitely stay again! Host was so helpful!!

We had a great time and the property was fantastic. Plenty of water toys, paddle boards and Kayaks. Everything was as described. The space was more than adequate for the 10 of us. We caught plenty of fish and sun on the beach. Great location. If you want time away at the lake definitely the spot to be.

This property was amazing! So many places to sleep and all the beds were super comfy! The living spaces are big and can accommodate everyone. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the big kitchen table was awesome for everyone to be able to eat together. The weather was a bit cold on the weekend we were up there, but we got to have a bon fire and watch the sunset from the amazing beach view and use the "lady lair" to play games (which they supplied) and hang out. Can't wait to go here again! Planning on making this an annual trip!

Wow

Lucky to have found this place for Memorial Day. Best fishing right off dock - large mouth bass, northern pikes, sunnies. Water was super clear. Great spot, kids loved it and swam all day. Tons to do and plenty of room for our three families. Will book again next summer.

Perfect Friends and Family Getaway

An easy drive from the Twin Cities, this Lakeside spot was the perfect setting for our annual girls getaway. Plenty of space for our group of 10 with luxurious bedding and bath towels, gathering spaces, large dining table, gaming areas and even a private “Ladies Lair” with scenic views of the lake. All the amenities made it easy to prepare meals. We also loved the area - good food, quaint shopping and friendly people. We highly recommend and plan to return in the future.

What a wonderful place for our two families to come together! The house was so well stocked with all the essentials and more! You’ll have all the towels you’ll ever need and the kitchen is very well equipped. The s’mores kit was a big hit! The backyard was perfect for a good parent hang while the kids played on the beach. We loved the white sand and shallow waters out past the dock, and that there were plenty of sand/water toys (paddleboards especially!) I loved the blackout blinds and sound machines in the bedrooms, which made for easy toddler naps. The location was great, as we were close to lots of stores and things to do, but still far enough out that it felt tucked away. The host was a great communicator and so nice! Check in/check out was so easy too. Definitely recommend this place!

Great Stay July 13-17, 2025

We had a really great time here. Loved the s'mores basket, cute touch! The beach was phenomenal, the sand was fine and white, and the lake was shallow out past the dock. Great for our grandkids ages 3 to 11. The kids also loved the bunk bed room with the trundles, they all were able to stay together and had a great time. Kitchen was really nice and updated. It had plenty of dishes, nice pots (big) and pans, everything you could think of was included. Large dining table so we could sit together. We used all of the rooms, although a little discombobulated, had everything we needed and wanted. The cabin could be improved to have access to the basement from the back and have a little patio under the deck.

This home is well equipped for families with small kids - you don't need to pack anything extra, just come! We had 4 kids ages 2-5 and the stay was seamless. Barbie and Spider-Man beach towels? Nightlights and sound machines? An entire shed full of sand toys? Step stools in every bathroom? They've got you covered! The beach is sandy and the water around the dock is shallow, great for splashing and chasing the fish that you will most certainly see! We also enjoyed the nearby Whipple beach and playground. There was plenty of space inside for our group of 10 to be together or spread out. Thank you for a great stay!

Girlfriend Get Away

We had planned “deck time” for our girls getaway. Maybe some grilling on the properties gas grill. But Mother Nature had other plans and it poured rain for the 3 days we were there. That didn’t matter, though. We cooked and snacked in the beautiful (and fully equipped) kitchen. Played games in the dining room overlooking the lake and geese, ducks and loons enjoying the wet beach. Everything is so convenient! Grocery and liquor stores are literally a few blocks away. Costco is, also, a few blocks away. We spent quite a bit of time shopping at Christmas Pointe, which is, also, a few blocks away. This is an obligatory shopping destination with 3 floors of clothing, food, furniture and gifts. A visit to the next door restaurant for cocktails and a walleye appetizer. The property had a wide array of games to entertain us on the rainy days. Definitely plan on going back in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach!There were only 3 of us but this home can definitely accommodate many more!!!Immaculate. Beautifully furnished. Fully functional and appointed kitchen. Short 2 hour drive from Minneapolis and, once there, close to everything in the area!

This was hands down one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. As a family of 12 with kids ranging from 2 to 10 years old, this property exceeded our expectations in every way.We’ve stayed at several large family rentals over the years, and this one easily moved to the top of our list. The home was exceptionally well stocked—from the kitchen to the bathrooms, towels, beach towels, and outdoor equipment. Everything was high quality, and it was clear the owners put a great deal of thought into every detail.The attention to detail was especially appreciated for families with young children. Every bedroom had blackout shades and a sound machine, which made naps and bedtime so much easier. The sleeping arrangements were spacious, and having multiple living areas allowed the adults to relax and spend time together after the kids went to bed without disturbing anyone.The highlight of the property was the incredible sandy beach. The beach was huge, and the gradual, zero-entry shoreline gave us so much peace of mind with young kids. They could safely splash and play near the water, which made the entire experience far more relaxing for the adults.The host was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and proactive in checking in to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family vacation and will absolutely be back again. Highly recommend this property!
