It is always with regret to read that our guests did not fully appreciate our property or service. Luckily it happens once in a blue moon and so most reviews are always very good but still take all reviews seriously to see how we can better improve ourselves. I had arranged for transport for these guests for both their arrival and departure; the driver and his garage are part of our set up and so he assists with arrivals and also directs guests to the correct address, with Gold being on a pedestrianized road, he cannot stop by the door; and so it is normal practice for him to assist, even when or if something goes amiss. Of course he knows my number, and to which I answered him promptly so there was no waiting for the guests to check in. The guests were collected at the airport on their arrival, as promised, and again back to the airport for their departure pick up at 06:15 Gold is a very popular property and so upgrade and refurbishment works are carried out in lull periods. However I feel the guest is certainly exaggerating with her description of the apartment, however admittedly some furniture is sometimes replaced with others when we see the necessity and regret if anything was not proper, but a quick phonecall or message would have certainly triggered our attention. It is unfair to state that you were not advised about the check out details. I suggest the guests again refer to my email to them of 01/10 where I wrote 'You will use the same keybox code to access the box and to deposit the key back inside please'. Once again I thank the guests for having stayed with us but regret that they did not fully enjoy the apartment, but glad to read appreciate its prime location.

We are very surprised to read this review because when we met the guests on their departure, they had said that they had an enjoyable time, and never mentioned any dissatisfaction with the apartment. This is the first time that we are reading that the place is very noisy. Gold is in actual fact located on a pedestrianized road, meaning that it is only some delivery vehicles which are allowed through this road, only at certain and limited hours, and so I find it very strange to believe that the place was noisy ALL day. At the same time, the apartment is fitted with double glazing throughout to ensure that the apartment is quiet when inside. the road has only been pedestrianized a few years ago, and even before this time, we never had any complaints about noise when the road was in continuous use by traffic from morning till night. For this reason I have to disagree with these guests' exaggerated comments. Gold is also equipped with 2 hot water boilers, one for each bathroom. Guests are informed that these have to be switched on at least half an hour before use and if the guests failed to follow these instructions, but then had the problem with hot water, they could have easily called us on the free phone supplied in the apartment, informing us of their complaint, which we would have easily re-explained to them. We also cannot understand how it took a long time for hot water to reach the shower to take a hot shower when the hot water boilers just 2 metres away from the showers!!! The mattresses in the apartment are semi-orthopaedic, meaning that they are meant for meant for a comfortable rest. At the same time, all mattresses are equipped with mattress protectors and toppers to ensure a good night's sleep. Again we have to stress that no one has ever complained about the beddings before and so find it difficult to comprehend these guests' complaints. Whereas we do not charge extra for final cleaning, the apartment was left in an almost derelict state on their departure where it seemed that these guests never took out their garbage, which as we explained on their arrival, is collected EVERYDAY and so there was no reason to leave it there for the whole duration of their stay. We are sorry to have read that these guests failed to appreciate the advantages of this apartment, but had they informed us earlier of their complaints, justified or not, we would have offered alternative accommodation to them elsewhere.

We thrive to give a better service to our guests and so thank you for bringing matters to our attention so that we can deal with these immediately. Admittedly, the pool table has taken the brunt of a few non sober nights by some of our guests but because we have had back-to-back bookings all throughout, we were not able to have this repaired as the table would need to be dismantled and would take a few hours to repair, and so this work is being planned to be carried out soon when we start to have short breaks in between departures and arrivals. We nevertheless hope this did not stop you from enjoying a game. Once again thank you.
