Villa Verandah is situated in the western part of the island Ciovo in the cove abundant in pebble/sandy and rocky beaches called Saldun, which offers a great deal of sport activities. Surrounded by rich Mediterranean flora, it is located on the very coast, less then a kilometer from Trogir.

The house consists of:
• 6 bedrooms (4 double beds, 4 single beds) – 12 sleeps + 3 extra beds, baby cot
• 2 living rooms (TV/SAT, WiFi internet, DVD player, stereo)
• 2 kitchens + 1 big summer kitchen (dishes, cutlery, refrigerator, cooking stove, dishwasher, washing machine)
• 4 Bathrooms with toilets (shower bath)
• 1 large terrace and beautiful big verandah (big wooden table with chairs for 12-15 people)

Great stay for several generations

The house is perfect for groups that want some privacy as we who was grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Each family had it’s own apartment but at the same time the great common kitchen and living area. Nice pool in combination with about 100 meters to the beach will fit for all.

My extended family of 14 had a brilliant time, so much space and places to relax or get together... we loved the woodfired pizza oven and bbq. View from the summer kitchen and bar ! Thank you Toni for all info you gave and help with anything we were unsure of.

An amazing stay!

Great stay at Villa Verandah! Many separate rooms with kitchens, clean and spacious pool and outdoor area including sunbeds and parasols. The large outdoor kitchen was amazing with all you need, utensils, pizza oven, barbecue area and a large table to gather everybody. Overall clean, fresch, easy to use and a very pretty place with view over the sea. Toni was a great host who helped with questions, pickup and other activities such as boat trip and a delicious Croatian dinner for 11 people. Toni and Villa Verandah made our week even more incredible. We definitely recommend a stay here! Thank you Toni!

Great vacation-house

We had an excellent stay at Villa Verandah. Toni gave us a warm welcome with complimentary tapas and cold drinks, which was very appreciated after the flight from Norway. We were a party of 13 people (3 families), and the villa turned out to be just perfect for us. Every family had their own space, and there were also a big outdoor kitchen-area and the pool area where all of us could be together during the day. Very nice and clean villa with a beautiful outside area. The villa is very close to the nearest beach and a small grocery store. It is just a 20min walk to beautiful Trogir center with all it has to offer of shops and restaurants. Toni was very helpful during our stay, and the communication with him during our 2 week stay was very good. All in all we strongly recommend Toni’s Villa Verandah and we would not hesitate to comeback back another year.

Fantastic villa

Toni’s villa is fantastic :) It was in a great location . About a 20 min walk to the old town and so close the the beach as well . There is a mini market 2 mins walk away as well . The villa itself was spotless, so well equipped . Every detail thought off . Toni was more than happy to allow an early checkin for our daughter which was amazing and a rare . Thankyou for this . It made all the difference to them . The pizza oven was so much fun . My favourite was the outdoor/ indoor dining area . A fantastic area to relax in the evening . I would highly recommend to family’s or a group of friends . Thankyou Toni for sharing your villa . It was perfect in Every way :) Warmest regards Emma and family x

OUTSTANDING

The Villa is outstanding The location is outstanding The hosts , Toni and Ina ,are outstanding The villa is much bigger than it looks in the photos..There is enough privacy for those who want it . Plenty of shade and sun beds around the pool. Air conditioning in all the apartments. A modern ,well equipped kitchen,with a fabulous outdoor dining area . It also has an ice machine that was very popular given the hot weather. We decided against trying the pizza oven as it was far too hot There is even a paddle board there. The location is unbelievable. No need for a car. Just 1 minute walk to the beach and a further 8 minute stroll to the famous Okrug beach with its restaurants and facilities There is a small supermarket 1 minute away and a slightly bigger one a further 5 minutes . The ferry to Trogir is just 2 minutes away. We loved the ferry .It runs every 30 mins ,takes about 20 mins and costs just 5 euros each way. There is a steep slope from the villa down to the road but it’s only about 30 meters long. After that everything is flat. However please note that the pavements are not good or non existent. The beaches are shale so take beach shoes and some places still take cash only. Eg the restaurant at the bottom of the slope and the bakery at the nearby campsite. Both supermarkets stock most things including bread etc. Trogir old town is wonderful and full of good restaurants. There is also a large market there. We also took a taxi to Split which took 40 minutes.

Så mycket bättre än förväntat.

Boendet har inget mer att önska. Så välplanerat och genomtänkt och perfekt för alla åldrar. Hyresvärden Toni är helt fantastisk. Behjälplig med allt du kan önska från tips på pizzadeg till transport och utflyktsmål. Kan varmt rekommendera både hyresvärden och stället.

Four Generations in Trogir

We absolutely loved Toni's villa near Trogir. It is perfect for a large family gathering. Toni our host was very quick to respond to my messages before and during our 14 day stay. He was super helpful, and even managed to organise some tickets for 3 of us to see Hadjuk Split play on the 1st Saturday, which we enjoyed very much. On arrival we had a lovely platter of local meats and cheeses, plus some cold drinks. Very Welcome :) The Villa itself is very comfortable which separate apartments that allow a large gathering to have some personal space as well. Air conditioning throughout. The garden area is also beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully laid out. The pool is a good size for cooling down and lots of seating around for relaxing and reading. Location in relation to Trogir is ideal close enough to walk to Trogir itself (over the hill if you are fit !) or take the little Rozac ferry which is great fun and interesting. The villa is on the border between Trogir and Okrug. We were there at the end of the season, so some of the beach restaurants were closing for the year but there were plenty still open and all great with friendly staff. Weather was superb 23C for all our stay. The restaurant at the Campsite also recommended 5 minutes walk from the Villa. There are a couple of local supermarkets that are walking distance. One of the big highlights is the outside kitchen with the wood burning Pizza oven, two of our party were very excited to use this and we had some of the best pizzas I've experienced. There is also an outside barbecue which we also loved. Toni also said he would be upgrading this kitchen which would be great. Our whole family had a fantastic holiday, Lovely Villa, great location, super helpful host, great weather, Fantastic country - can't wait to return to Croatia.

Fantastisk ferie med hele familien

Vi nøt en uke på dette flotte stedet. Passer perfekt for besteforeldre med barn og små barnebarn i alderen 0-5 år. Vi koste oss i hagen og med svømmebassenget. Kort vei til en dukkert i sjøen og nydelige strender.

Unserer ganzen Familie hat das Haus sehr gefallen. Die Lage ist Top die Gartengestaltung Pool etc ist alles genau durchdacht. Top ist der Pizzaofen. Wir als 12 köpfige Familie können nichts negatives über das Haus sagen. Der Gastgeber Toni schaut das es einem an nichts fehlt. Dreimal Daumen hoch wenn's gehen würde.😁

Perfect Stay

The villa was perfect for a big family get together and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was very handy that the rooms were like self contained apartments which meant each family had their own space and the pool area and kitchen were ideal social spaces. The location was fantastic with sea views and only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Communication before we arrived and during our stay was very good and helped us make the most of the week. Loved it all and would definitely return

Fantastic villa for large group with teenagers

Such a lovely villa with everything you need to ensure a home from home experience . Space for teenagers , Toni the host helping with how to use the pizza oven , a pool big enough for all day fun . The beach on your doorstep with lots of water activities to keep the family occupied . Thanks Toni :)

Perfect week!

The villa exceeded our expectations and made our holiday perfect! The location is great, close to the beach, a 15-20 min walk to old town, a little supermarket only a few minutes away. We spent a lot of time by the pool area. Toni was a fantastic host, helped us with transfer to and from the airport, met us and showed us around upon arrival, sent us tips on the pizza oven. He answered any questions within minutes. Really recommend Toni’s villa and hope to go back soon!

Great holiday

I can say 3x WOW! Location - WOW, host - WOW, home- WOW! Thank you Toni for such a great time :) you are the most hospitable host I ever met. We spent this holiday with family, 12 adults, 1 child and two babies. It was really convienient for such a huge group. We love the summer kitchen, is really well equipped. There was enought space for everybody. Swimming pool is perfect... hm...Everything was perfect! Kochani rodacy! Bardzo polecam pobyt w tej willi. To piękne miejsce :) Lokalizacja - 15 min spacerkiem do centrum Trogiru, w pobliżu znajdują się 3 ładne plaże. Pierwsza kilkadziesiąt metrów od domu, bardzo spokojna. Przy kempingu większa, piękna plaża. A tuż dalej plaza z duża ilością barów, rozrywek. Bardzo dobra restauracja kilkadziesiąt metrów od domu. Gospodarz niezwykle pomocny, gościnny. Piękny duży basen, piec do pizzy, grill. Dom składa się z kilku oddzielnych mieszkań. Bardzo, bardzo polecam!

Summer Vacation in Trogir

We had a wonderful time! The home was perfect for the 11 of us (9 adults and two kids) . We wer encouraged by the host Toni to use the pizza oven and the fire place and had two wonderful meals! He even translated the family pizza dough recipe for us. The location of the home is perfect with a beach down the hill and town a short walk away. And while it was hot, we spent a lot of time by the pool which was fantastic! Overall it was a dream vacation for all of us! Thank you Toni.

Wonderful place

We had a wonderful week in Trogir living at VillaVerandah! A nice place to spend your holiday if you are a big family or lots of friends. So nice to spend your time baking pizza or just relaxing in the pool. The outdoor kitchen was really a place to come together. Toni is a helpful and perfect host.

Lovely and clean house

We spend one week at house Verandah and celebrated my 60th anniversary there. The house is very clean, situated at peaceful place and has four apartments what was just the right size for our group. The heated pool was very nice. Host Toni is very helpful. He solved our little problems quickly. We highly recommed this house.

Brilliant holiday

Had a really fantastic week in the house. The weather on the second night was freezing and I text the owner if there was a heater for the kitchen and the next minute the man who lived next door dropped one in. The owner and his sister who waited for us to arrive were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful anyone who stays here will really enjoy themselves.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Villa was built in 1971, at the time when there was no road for cars on the island of Čiovo.
Great-grandfather and grandfather were carrying construction material with wooden carts to build a house. It is primarily used as a summer residence of our family.

Great-grandfather worked as a tour guide to the Ancient Salona. His experience is passed on to his offspring. So the grandmother and grandfather had begun working with tourists in the early 80's. Countless groups of Germans, Czechs, Russians, Austrians, Hungarians, Frenchmen, Italians and many others, took turns in this house. Many of them were returning for years in a row.
Then came the turn of the father. He restored the villa and built a porch in the 90s. According to this porch, residence was given its present name. Today, the Villa is left to the fourth generation of the family since its construction. We made its last transformation in Spring 2010 and now here it is: in its walls is inscribed the story of growing up so many generations of family lineage through various friendly gatherings, family celebrations to teenage parties. If you take a better look at the house, you will find many objects from the past.
