Spacious luxury villa in Whitehouse, Jamaica, with expansive ocean views.
Forget your worries and enjoy the peace and quiet in this spacious and serene space with expansive ocean views. There are five double bedrooms on three levels, with a large main area featuring an open floor plan for the living room, dining, and kitchen. There are no glass windows at this luxury residence, simply custom-built wooden slatted doors which let in the gentle ocean breezes. There is a large garden with lush indigenous flora. The property is gated with plenty of onsite parking.
The space
The views from this property are breath-taking, with the coastline and Caribbean Sea reaching as far as the eye can see in both directions. The sunsets from the veranda are indescribable, creating a visual spectacle in shades of yellow, orange and red every night.
There is a small private infinity pool on the veranda surrounded by pots of local flora, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
The house sleeps 10 guests, in 5 bedrooms, but fewer can be accommodated in the 3 bedrooms of the main house upper floors. There are hairdryers in all bathrooms.
There is Wi-Fi in the common areas, free parking on site, a full kitchen with dish washer, microwave, drip coffee machine and hot pot. There is also an iron and ironing board. Air conditioning can be found in the bedrooms. Ceiling fans are throughout the entire house.
The location is safely located just off the A2 on the south-west coast in the anchor estate Culloden by the Sea, Whitehouse, close to the Sandals Southcoast Resort.
The property has a beautifully-designed mature garden with fruit trees and flowering bushes which attract a variety of birds, including the Red-billed Streamertail, also known as the Swallow Tail Hummingbird, the national bird of Jamaica.
For your safety we have an on-site caretaker / groundskeeper, and safes are available in each bedroom. We also have smoke detectors.
A hire car is recommended for guests.
Airport transportation can be arranged but must be paid for separately and directly to the driver.
Bath and pool towels are both provided. Room towels should not be used in the pool area.
An outdoor shower is provided to use prior to entering and after using the pool.
The property manager can arrange exclusive private events including, a private chef to cater for meals during your vacation, weddings, birthday partyâs, and work conferences; a beautician; a physical trainer or yoga instructor. These events are all catered for separately for an additional fee and will need to be booked through the manager either during or (preferably) prior to your stay.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted inside the residence but should be confined to the veranda and deck outside areas. We ask that guests use the ashtrays provided and do not discard cigarettes in the garden.
Children are welcome on the property but must be supervised at all times, especially in the infinity pool, which can be very slippery and dangerous for all. Also, the garden has some steep slopes that can be difficult to manoever on. The management and owners will not be held responsible for any slips, falls or accidents.
The pool has no lifeguard and is to be used at your own risk at all times.
DAMAGES TO PROPERTY
Accidents can and will happen; thus, any damage or accidents to the property should be reported to the property manager (here) immediately, and an arrangement for compensation or replacement should be discussed. The deposit held on the guests account may be withheld until the repairs or damages are assessed and paid for.
All remote controls for the televisions, fans and air conditioning units should be left where they were found at check-in when vacating the property.
Keys should be left in the safe boxes any time when leaving the property. Kindly do not take the keys off of the premises.
Power disruption is unavoidable in Jamaica and can occur often. Please have patience.
Guest access
The entire house and gardens are accessible to the guests. Depending on number of guests booked, access to the bedrooms may be limited. A small room off of the kitchen is private and has a lock on it. This room should not be used by guests.
Other things to note
The property is located near Whitehouse, a quiet local fishing village away from the bustle of the tourist areas. This is Jamaica at its true essence.
The property has access to a small residential beach, that is about a 10-minute walk away (down the steep road). But there are other beautiful beaches with crystal clear warm waters found in abundance along the coastline with San San Beach about 5 minutes away and the local public Bluefieldâs beach only 10 minutes by car, which offers showers, snacks, cold drinks and lifeguard service.
