First off, Susan was a wonderful host. SUPER communication and response time, and she had tons of suggestions for things to do/eat/see. Next, the house is huge and great for larger groups. Plenty of rooms for everyone (each with itâs own bathroom!) and a lot of common areas to spread out in.Lastly, the pool was wonderful! Huge and a great temperature. Our stay was just a couple of nights but if you are looking for seclusion and privacy this is it.
I'm an American teacher who traveled to Negril, Jamaica thirty years ago and met my husband. We've dreamed of living in Jamaica for our retirement and now we can in this amazing location chosen for it's beautiful location at the ocean, it's safety and privacy. Husband became crippled in an accident, so we added the ramp and now we can offer this uniquely wheel-chair accessible home to visitors who may have mobility issues. The wheel-chair bed and bath are available upon request.
This home and landscaping is romantic, spacious, lush and has an unobstructed view of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet and secure. It's been updated and decorated with hand made furniture and colorful paintings by local craftsmen and artists. We use only local experts for the renovations, repairs and upkeep. The latest addition is a large wheelchair accessible swimming pool and deck.
The south coast of Jamaica is closer to many attractions that other tourists drive for hours to get too. Within 30 minutes, you can reach a waterfalls park with zip lining, a rum tasting estate tour, a river boat ride, snorkeling, and a zoo. Fresh water rivers, blue holes, caves, and ocean beaches are plentiful and nearby.
