The two guest bedrooms also have king-sized beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The social area blends indoor-outdoor living with modern design, teak accents, and abundant natural light.

Relax in the living area with a flat-screen TV and Netflix streaming. The fully stocked kitchen has modern appliances, including a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. For your convenience, the home includes air conditioning in the common areas and bedrooms, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and hairdryers to ensure a seamless stay.

Casa los Amigos was the perfect home base for our group in the Brasilito area. After beach days, we loved unwinding in the pool and jacuzzi while the kids played. There are a wide variety of restaurants nearby, but we really enjoyed grilling fresh fish at home from the nearby market. The indoor-outdoor kitchen make cooking together a joy, and the lush backyard full of birds and wildlife felt like a private oasis. The house was beautiful, spacious, and made us feel completely at home. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice House For Groups, But Needs Improvement

First off the house itself is a modern, beautiful home. However, we encountered a few issues: 1) directions to the house are not adequate. We got coordinates that you can put into a nav app, but the apps believe there are ways to get to the property which are not accessible. They did not explain the house is in a gated community, there is a specific route you have to take to access it, and that you are required to stop at a guard shack and get a pass. 2) the house was insanely hot when we checked in, probably in the 90s inside, the house has multiple mini-split AC units but it still took over 2 days to get it to a decent temperature. 3) the pool and hot tub filtration were not working properly. They did get the pool in decent shape during our stay, but it was absolutely filthy at check in and the hot tub never really cleaned up. There are some strange insanely bright lights than come on randomly in the neighborhood throughout the night - not sure if it’s security, neighbors, or what, but it’s a little unnerving. Also, read the description closely as there are cameras watching all over the house, including one that points right into the kitchen (where we spent a lot of our time when we were inside). The accommodations are really nice inside though. Four rooms with four king beds and private bathrooms for each make it really nice for couples/groups

We're committed to learning and improving, and your comments have already helped guide several important changes. We’re sorry to hear that you had difficulty finding the property. We've reviewed the directions and realized they could be clearer. Moving forward, we will provide more precise and easy-to-follow arrival instructions to ensure guests reach the house without confusion. We also apologize for the uncomfortable temperature upon your arrival. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially in the heat. To prevent this from happening again, we’ll be making sure the A/C is turned on in advance of each guest's arrival. The units in the home are strong and cool the space quickly, so we’re confident this change will make a big difference. Regarding the pool and hot tub, we acknowledge they were not in the condition you expected. While we perform regular cleaning and maintenance, the surrounding trees can contribute to pollen and debris accumulation, which may give the impression that the pool is not clean. We are exploring the possibility of trimming or removing vegetation near the pool area and increasing the frequency of pool cleaning during guest stays to ensure a consistently clean and enjoyable experience. We also want to address your concern about the bright lights during the night. These are part of the community’s security patrol system, and while we understand they may be disruptive, they are there to keep all residents and guests safe as part of our gated neighborhood’s protection efforts. As for the cameras, we want to reassure you that their purpose is purely for safety and security. Most are positioned outside and at entry points. However, we recognize the concern regarding the one near the kitchen. We will be adjusting its angle to ensure it does not intrude on any indoor living spaces. Your privacy is very important to us, and we take this feedback seriously. As a new rental, reviews like yours are helping us shape a better guest experience. We’re actively working on improvements and would love the opportunity to host you again so you can see the changes for yourself.
