Even better in person than photos! We stayed as a couple and it was so wonderful! The access and check in were easy. The boat was clean and well stocked! Dishes coffee soaps towel linens. So grateful! The roof top was nice and the bed very comfortable and the porch off the bedroom on the first floor was probably my favorite part of the boat. Views from the boat were great! We only stayed one night but could have stayed a week comfortably! Parking also easy! Location was perfect! Recommend eating at Otra itâs great and walkable. Clean area and safe. Fast communication with host! It was a memorable stay!
We loved everything about this charming houseboat. The owners have done a really fantastic job setting it up in every way and I feel lucky to have stayed there for our one night in Providence. What a sweet and special and memorable way for my children to experience the Ocean State! Truly unique and lovely and wholeheartedly recommended. The ONLY thing I wish I had done differently was parking. The owner had recommended a parking garage over street parking (and I donât know how far a walk that would have been) but the too-good-to-be-true parking on Bridge Street is exactly that and three hours short of good. The signs donât say that parking is prohibited from 2am to 5am and you will be ticketed (47 I think?). I honestly just felt very lucky that my minivan wasnât towed - which would have really been a terrible situation for a single parent with three kids in tow. So go! Stay here! You will love it. But definitely park in a parking garage and walk the extra block or two.
We just spent the weekend on this incredible houseboat. As a family that travels quite often, we wanted to try this very different type of stay. It was the first time we stayed on a houseboat, and after what we just experienced, it certainly will not be the last. The use of space inside was pure genius. We spent time hanging out up on top but found that it was even more enjoyable down on the deck outside of the master bedroom as it puts you right on top of the water. The colors and lights at night are simply beautiful. The way the bridge lights up and the adjacent restaurants is really fun. The restaurants that are right near the boat are for an older crowd, and not super family friendly. We love a lively environment, so this fit in perfectly with the late night crowds right near the boat. If you were looking for complete serenity, this may not be the location due to these restaurants. I would recommend this houseboat any day of the week if youâre looking for an adventure.
