Beautiful home in a perfect location for the area! Host is wonderful to work with and always fast to reapond. We will absolutely be returning to stay again!
This cottage is hands down one of the cleanest, most well-maintained, and comfortable places we have stayed. Beautifully decorated with fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with thoughtful supplies like shampoo, plush towels, Keurig, and cooking spices, etc. The beds are also wonderfully comfortable, and the screened front porch was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the peaceful outdoors. We loved our stay! Thank you Mark!
We had a wonderful stay and were so comfortable here. The home has many nice touches and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the home was immaculate. We all enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch and playing the Tiki Toss. It was a great place to unwind after visiting with family all day. The location is convenient to many restaurants and some retail too. Thanks for a great stay!
My mother and I stayed here for 2 days while visiting the area, and it was perfect. Mark is an outstanding host, and this charming cottage had so many thoughtful touches, well-appointed amenities, beautifully decorated, most comfortable beds, and the cleanest rental I have ever seen. Mark called me our second day to see how everything was going and if I needed anything else. And it was so peaceful and soothing to come âhomeâ here after a long HOT (100 degrees outside) day of retail therapy and walk into the cool interior and melt into the soft bed for a nap! We will be back again I know. You wonât be disappointed if you stay here I can promise.
The entire property was renovated by my own hands. I used reclaimed materials in parts of the renovation from my grandfatherâs home place built in 1880âs and from a country store he built in 1930 and run his entire life with my grandmother. Both were torn down in 2025 for development but I was able to save some reusable materials. Some of his hand tools are displayed on the wall in the home made from siding of his birth home place. He also run a sawmill for years to make income and to make building materials used to build his store and barns on his farm.
