Luxury Home:3 Bed/2 Bath with Shuffleboard~ walk to Restaurants/Bars near Purdue
Less than a 1.5 mile to Purdue campus, there is no space like this in greater West/ Lafayette area. We are walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops, museums, and nightlife. This luxury-decorated historic home was built in 1835 for the Postmaster General of Lafayette. It has 3 bedrooms, and has been recently updated with two new full bathrooms (one main level and one on the 2nd floor), a modern kitchen, and swish decor. Enjoy the shuffleboard table and relax by our firepit.
The house was nice and a good walking location to the main street area. The oven needed directions and the owner was helpful. The tubs are high off of the ground so it was a little difficult for my elderly in-laws. Comfortable to just hang out at the home. Great air conditioning
This was a great place to stay for Purdue move in. It was convenient to downtown restaurants and, while not right next to campus, certainly not far from there or the big box stores we had to frequent multiple times for things we forgot. This is a beautiful old house. I grew up in one, so these things donât bother me. However, renters should be aware that there are sloping floors, the overhead lighting isnât great, and the stairs are extremely steep. These things were not issues for us and only added to the charm of the place. We had fun with the shuffleboard (though we were terrible), and we also enjoyed the record player, once we remembered how to operate it. I would stay here again. It was great to have more space for all of the move-in things we hauled with us.
