This house is a cozy escape in the rural neighborhood of Leadmine Wisconsin.

The Leadmine Lodge is a perfect base camp to explore UTV routes and is a short distance to rural taverns, supper clubs, and the Fever River. The Cottage is 1,000 feet from the Leadmine Tavern – voted the #1 dive bar in the country in 2024. The cottage is located in the heart of the former lead mining region and the Fever River Valley. It is withing walking distance of the Leadmine Tavern, four miles to New Diggings, one mile to the Horseshoe Bend waterfall and fishing hole, three miles to Benton, WI, seven miles to historic Shullsburg, and seventeen miles to Galena Illinois. There are several supper clubs within a UTV or snowmobile ride. No stoplights here!
Smallmouth bass fisherman will find the location perfect for access to the Fever River and its feeder streams. Bring your kayak as The Fever is a great paddle. Local maps are provided in the lodge. The house has been recently updated and well equipped for a weekend or a week. The house is a three bedroom with one full bath with a washer and dryer. There are two queen beds downstairs, and the upstairs private bedroom has a king bed all with new comfortable bedding. There is a large mud room to contain your exploring gear. Guest will have access to the entire house and yard. Entry is gained thru a key pad. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
