I brought my daughter for a quick overnight getaway and our experience was perfect from start to finish. We had excellent communication from our host, the grounds and glamping tent were in great condition. We loved wandering the trails, making smores (a nice, convenient setup), kayaking, and listening to the bullfrogs croaking. Highly recommend a visit with Ashland Glamping for anyone who wants to slow down for a bit and enjoy the big sky and fresh air. After checkout we explored the lovely shops in nearby Ashland. Thanks for a great experience!
The Boho Tent was very nice, super cute, clean. The a/c worked well. There was a nice little fridge for drinks & food. The location to Ashland restaurant and shopping is great. The owners were very welcoming. We saw turkeys, deer, turtles. It's a nice quiet place to enjoy nature. The firepit and patio were set up were attractive. We used the kayaks provided. My only minor complaints are I wish there was a pool to swim in. The pond was not great for swimming. Also, there were a lot of ants on the chairs by the firepit, maybe bring your own camp chairs for that reason.
We booked not fully knowing how the stay would be, and we were found that it exceeded our expectations. The property is nestled into a remote, quiet wooded area, surrounding a small pond, yet still very close to shopping and supplies. We had a nice relaxing evening grilling supper and sitting by the firepit. Even though there weren't a lot of walking trails, we noticed that several seem to be under construction. Despite the short stroll, we were able to enjoy ourselves and the peaceful surroundings.
The "tent" lodging was great. It actually has shiplap siding for the interior walls, and some corrugated metal to help with the structure. This created the feel of a tent, but with the security of a cabin to protect from the light rain we experienced. It also allows for heat and A/C to help battle the elements. The bed was very comfortable, the small, apartment style kitchen was perfect, and the other modern amenities (sorry, no TV) were much appreciated. We would only suggest two small changes -- the coffee make should probably be descaled, and a mirror in the kitchen/dining or sleeping area would be nice so patrons don't have to use the small bathroom. Overall, though, Ashland Glamping allowed us to have the quiet, relaxing stay we wanted and then some. We will be back, and will probably try one with a hot tub next time!!!
I booked the boho for my husband and me for his birthday. We had such an amazing time. Our check in was seamless and out host was extremely kind and helpful. They had games to choose from which we did and ended up playing it several times. We used e grill and the fire pit, both were in great condition and helped make our stay even better. I was in awe of the beufitul decor of the boho tent! The scenery was beautiful. I do think we would get much more bang for our buck had we gone in warmer weather as we couldn't fish or use the boats due to the time of year. It is also a bit pricey so not something we can do often. But it was a great adventure and we highly recommend.
