In 2019, my husband and I realized something important - we had never truly taken a vacation. Life had been busy with work, parenting, and the day to day hustle, and we hadnât prioritized time just for us. With the help of a family member who offered to watch our son, we finally had the chance.
We began searching for somewhere special online, not just a beach town, but a place that felt one of a kind. Thatâs when I stumbled across a listing for a cozy one bedroom condo on a private island. It felt too good to be true: peaceful, affordable, and surrounded by nature. We took a chance and booked it.
That trip changed everything.
We spent the most incredible week of our lives walking along quiet shores, spotting dolphins, collecting shells, and reconnecting in a way we hadnât in years. We explored local produce farms, savored fresh seafood, and simply slowed down. The peaceful stillness of the island, the magic in the air and it stayed with us long after we returned home.
From that moment on, we dreamed of owning a place just like it, somewhere to return to again and again. For a few years, nothing felt quite right... until 2022. We were casually browsing beach listings, and there it was, the exact same condo where our story began. It felt like fate. We didnât hesitate.
We bought it, and now weâre honored to share it with others.
Every time we drive onto the island and ride down the lane lined with palm trees, greeted by sweeping views of the Lowcountry and the scent of the ocean in the air, we feel that same peace and magic all over again, It brings us so much joy to welcome guests who are looking to reconnect, recharge, or just experience something truly special.
