This beautifully remodeled 2,000 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom mountainside duplex sits on 3 acres of unspoiled landscape, offering stunning views, optional hot tub access, and air conditioning. It’s an ideal retreat for families or groups seeking comfort, privacy, and a true Colorado escape.

Perfectly located between downtown Durango (15 minutes) and Purgatory Resort (15 minutes), you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—quiet mountain surroundings with quick access to skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. After your adventures, unwind at Durango Hot Springs, just 5 minutes away.

AIR CONDITIONING DETAILS'
Colorado summers are typically mild, and the home is well equipped with air conditioning throughout. The main living area features a built-in evaporative cooling system, while the master bedroom includes a new high-efficiency A/C unit. Two additional bedrooms are each provided with their own portable A/C units for added comfort.

Every living area has a dedicated air conditioning solution, and ceiling fans plus operable windows allow fresh mountain air to flow throughout.

Guest access
Aside from the 2nd and 3rd floors, you will have access to the common laundry room with full-sized washer and full-sized dryer on the 1st floor at the base of the stairwell.

You unit has its own separate entrance with a 4-digit code unique just for your stay!

The home is accessed by a gravel driveway with a gentle uphill slope. In normal conditions, access is straightforward.

During the winter season, we take care of snow removal when snowfall occurs. As with any mountain property, conditions can vary a bit with the weather, so we just recommend arriving with typical winter awareness.

Other things to note
An OPTIONAL HOT TUB is also available—After booking, you will be asked to complete a mandatory waiver and a $75 cleaning fee apply if you choose to use the hot tub.

If you would like even more space, you can book our entire cabin which has two kitchens and would be perfect for a larger group or multigenerational family.

Please note there may be guests staying on the lower floor studio and please be respectful regarding quiet hours
