Amazing Villa In and Hosts!

I've stayed at Casa Saturno 3 times now and it never disappoints. Patrizio and Ernesto handle all your needs quickly including airport transportation and cooked meals! The daily housekeeping is wondeful too!

Amazing house! Great views, location and pool.

My new favorite vrbo. Fabulous place. So roomy and awesome pool. You could rent the property next door too (Casa Dos Chicos) and have a whole extended family. This place was perfect for my teenagers (and us) to have some space, but all be together as well. I hope to go to some of the owners' properties in Italy soon too.

Lots of fun. Be prepared for hike up hill from town. So refreshing having the pool to jump into. Would recommend AC in bedrooms 😏

Perfect!!!!

We do an annual girl's trip every year and always someplace different. We LOVED Casa Saturno...the location, a short walking distance to the town center and the beach, the negative edge pool with pool service, the views, the open aired concept. The kitchen had everything we needed. A bonus was having a filtered water system. Plenty of space and privacy for any type of visitor. Patrizio, the home owner set us up with our concierge, Ernesto, who had every detail handled. Marga, our house cleaner kept everything in order. Leonardo, our driver, made every necessary stop so we could get money exchanged, stock the house with food and adult beverages and even gave us a quick tour of the town showing us popular restaurants and place to visit. Casa Saturno has everything you need for a fantastic get away. We have been visiting Sayulita for years and having this house was an unforgettable treat!!

Stunning Accommodations, Perfect Location, Excellent Communication and Helpful Staff

Villa Saturno was absolutely PERFECT! It's hard to even put into words what an amazing place this was and how seamless and extradorinary the experience was. I'll start off by saying that Patrizio and Ernesto were the best - super communicative and willing to help on all fronts. From questions about the home to suggestions for places in town to actually calling drivers and helping us to get to the airport and home, they were willing and able to do it all! Secondly, the house is a work of art. Each bedroom perfectly crafted and beautifully designed. The home is set atop a hill and has a beautiful view of the water and treetops. In the morning, the sounds of birds greeted us and in the evening we were sung to sleep by the frogs. We had a group of girls staying in the home for my sister's bachelorette party and everyone couldn't stop saying how perfectly it fit our groups' needs and how each of them would love to come back again to Villa Saturno. Finally the location really is just a 5 minute walk to town which was just far enough away to feel peaceful but close enough that we could walk to and from town and the beach every day. I really couldn't recommend a better place for a group stay in Sayulita and I absolutely will be returning! Thank you Patrizio for helping to make our weekend so special!

Traumatizing Experience at a Beautiful Home

We had an unfortunate incident of robbery while we were out on our first night. Regardless of the negative start, we are grateful for the prompt assistance of the hosts. Pre-arrival, the property manager helped booked 2 meals with an on-site chef & massages. Due to the robbery, we expressed no longer being able to afford the services. The hosts offered to cover them given the circumstances. Note we never asked them for a refund or money. The hosts brought us to the police & had the safes inspected. No unauthorized access to the safes was claimed. With no sign of forced entry, this deepened the mystery. After we had the 2 on-site meals & 1hr before the massages, the hosts retracted the offer to cover any expenses & undermined our experience. We had organized our itinerary & finances around these events. Note: There's a previous review that involved a similar robbery experience where the hosts also claimed they were lying. We cancelled the scheduled massages due to the hosts sudden refusal to cover any expenses. They eventually agreed to cover costs of the 2 on-site meals after we pushed back. The on-site meals prepared by the "chef" were actually cooked by the housekeeper. The food was served cold, flavorless, poor quality, & paired with rushed service. Overall, this home is beautiful. The hosts are very friendly but the ungifting & accusatory response left a sour taste. They are investigating the break-in incident further & hopefully such issues won't arise again.

The unfortunate accident of robbery described is a SCAM! We had no sign of break in anywhere, neither at the gate nor at perimeter walls, nor at the entry doors to the rooms which were locked, nor at the safes which were intact and closed with guest codes. We finished our investigation with the police, the safe experts and maintenance people and determined that this was either fabricated by the guest to get money from us or an inside job by one of the guest. No other option possible. We feel used and taken advantage of by these guests. We have been responsive and helpful after the claimed theft. We believed these clients at first and offered to pay for breakfasts, dinners, private massages and tours to help them out … until we realized it was absolutely NOT our responsibility to do so and we had been taken advantage of. The police report was used by them to get travel insurance, to get money from us and they even had the courage to request a reimbursement from VRBO. Shameless all the way. . It is really sad to see that people can orchestrate such thing and are so blatant about it. My favorite part is that our computer system records all opening and closing of the safes and there was no trace of them being opened or closed at the time the guests claimed they were away from the home. The clients called us to claim the theft 35 minutes before they actually opened the safes which is clearly ridiculous and prove they are lying. They probably thought we would have no way to catch their fraud and they tried their luck on us. They got busted but feel comfortable continuing with their absurd story. I we reported them to VRBO before they left the house and I am expecting VRBO to take down this ridiculous and offensive review!

Beautiful but BEWARE!

Rating: Zero Stars Pros: Convenient location with beautiful scenery. Close to town-10 minute walk (think about renting a golf cart as you do have to walk up a large hill.) Cons: -Robbed within 24 hours of staying in this “secure”house!! -2 of the bedrooms do not have A/C- it is really hot and humid and very much needed. -3 cats roam the open air house. Some clothes were left on the couch that they peed on and you cannot leave food on counter even in bags as they will get it. Details: 8 of us arrived for a birthday celebration. Day 2 headed out for a beach day. About an 1-1/2 hour later one of our guest went back to the house to pick up some items and to grab a speaker from her backpack in her room, It was then that she noticed the cash was gone. We were very alarmed and all returned to check our rooms and one other person had her cash stolen from her purse. Over $3000 total in cash was taken. To our own fault, it was not in the safe. We were told that the house was secure… no one had the gate code except the house manager and housekeeper.. When we inquired further we were told that the housekeeper had just left and was the only person there during that time. We contacted the house manger and owner immediately and both were verbally sympathetic but their actions were not. We were never offered a full or partial refund nor credited for cleaning services (we stopped maid service for the remainder of the week). We filed a police report, contacted the e

Adriana was a horrible guest. She claims she got robbed even though we have 5 safes for 5 bedrooms. She and everybody in her group had an opportunity to use the safes Instead they left their money in backpacks and doors unlocked. and then they claimed that they got robbed out of three different bedrooms! Wow! She had an opportunity to protect her self and her guests and decided not to take it. We ask all our guests to use the safes annd lock doors and she didn’t take it seriously. Ad far as I can tell, she probably didn’t even get robbed because as soon as she claimed this happened, she asked for a full reimbursement of the amount paid for the house rental! Uhm … just a bit suspicious. I won’t even comment on the rest of the BS in her review because it’s totally retaliatory and pure revenge for not getting a full reimbursement from us. Don’t trust this person … she will do anything to appease her rage!

Modern Villa Getaway

We loved our stay at Casa Saturno! It's close enough to town to walk, yet far enough away to be peaceful with ocean views in the distance. The house is located at the top of the hill about 5-6 short cobblestone blocks away from town center. We had a car so that we could venture around, but there is no need for it in the town of Sayulita. We walked everywhere. The beaches of San Pancho and Punta de Mita are absolutely spectacular. We didn't do a lot of swimming or surfing at Sayulita beach. The best beach in walking distance is Playa de Muerta. And, one day we took a hiking adventure even further south through the jungle to a beach about a 30-45 min. walk away. It was incredible too! If you are looking for a good surf spot head over to La Lancha Beach in Punta de Mita. Park at the gas station next to the Wild Mex Surf Shop. (If you don't have a car, you can pay for a shuttle ride at the local surf shop.) This was by far the best surfing we found. We recommend doing your grocery shopping at Mega La Comer on your way in. It's about a 45 minute drive away, and you won't want to return to it. The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies needed to cook at home. Although the drinking water is safe at the house, it's not the best tasting. We preferred bottled water, Ciel brand. The house is spectacularly designed with wonderful architectural features. What you see in the photos is what you get. They have a local manager who assists with any needs that you have. We're pretty independent travelers, so he just gave us the gate code and we let ourselves in. (I liked that he gave us our privacy. But, when we needed something, maintenance came strait away.) The cleaning staff is wonderful and we hardly knew they were there while they cleaned. We loved the open-air design of the home, but be prepared with lots of mosquito repellant. We recommend that you bring some mosquito netting. The pool was incredible! We were in and out of it all day long. We loved that it was right next to the open-air living space, it felt integrated into the home. The property also offers two other rental opportunities. There is a studio on the downhill side and another house on the uphill side. All are well separated for privacy, but if you had a larger group, it would be wonderful to rent all the houses out at once. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend Casa Saturno to our friends and would love to stay again!!!

Lovely home, electricity issues made it tough to fully enjoy

This home is beautiful! We are 5 moms who planned a chilled out mammas get away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Location is great, it’s an easy walk down the hill to town, or you can golf cart like we did if you’re feeling lazy. We had a chef come and do most of our meals which was exceptional. Our only complaint is that the power went out at about 10pm on our final night. It was stormy and hot (early September) and none of us slept at all without fans or AC. The power restored to the houses all around us, but never came back to ours. The next day we texted the house manager at 7am and he finally made it by around 11 to fix it. Unfortunately we were unable to use the coffee machine, charge our phones ahead of travel etc, and it put a bit of a damper on our final night and morning of the stay.

Can't imagine a better Sayulita rental

This is an awesome spot to simply chill and enjoy the pool and grounds. Very quiet and comfortable. And when the time is right, you're only a 5 minute walk to all the action in downtown Sayulita. Casa Saturno easily accommodates large groups with it's open layout. Our family had a wonderful time here

Awesome jungle experience and location

Loved the location to Sayulita, the views from the property, and the open layout. There is a big hill to walk up, but we liked it for exercise. The rooms stayed cool at night with windows open. It is an open concept so expect to see animals and geckos on property. This property doesn’t have a hot tub, just pool. Great stay!!!!

Awesome!

The house was beautiful, even more impressive than on the pictures. Patricio and Ernesto were very helpful throughout our stay and to help us book an airport shuttle and massages. Maga, the cleaning lady who came everyday, was so nice! The house is located just a few minutes away from the town and the beach. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Saturno. Important detail : No oven, no dishwasher in the kitchen !!

Absolutely Fabulous

This is by far the most beautiful house we've stayed at in Sayuilta. The open living area is great and all the bedroom upstairs makes it easy to get some privacy if needed. It close to everything it far enough for peace and quite. When you arrive if you need a taco go down the stairs and try Iticate it's the first shop you see that has a bright pink frontage. Cheers!
