★ While the home is equipped to host 6 people, we think the perfect group size is 3-4. We are happy to host all 6, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.

Since our cabin is nestled beside a scenic creek and Hocking Hills weather can be unpredictable, occasional flooding may occur following heavy rain or severe weather. The water usually recedes within a few hours, allowing things to return to normal quickly. If an event such as a major flood makes the cabin inaccessible, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule your stay.

The shower handle can be a bit tricky—turning it to the maximum actually makes the water colder.

While we don't supply firewood for the fire pit, there are numerous places to buy it on the side of the road on the honor system (bring cash) or at local gas stations/carry-outs.

Please prepare for mosquitos in summer time.

PET: Please let us know if you are bringing a pet, max 2; Please add the pet fee under the option on the booking site (under the guests or traveler). If you did not pay upon booking, we can send you an invoice or charge you once you check in. Pets MUST be crated if you plan to leave them unattended. You will be charged $300 if we notice an unclaimed pet or uncrated unattended dog in the cabin. You will be responsible for paying for any damage caused by the pets.

We are located in the mountain area and have pest control around the whole year, however, we cannot totally exterminate the bugs/rodents. We try our best to get rid of them and appreciate guests’ understanding!
