To start we had a delay on getting the code to check into the house. We recieved the code after check in time. Once we were in the house, we did an inspection. The kitchen had rice and dog hair all over. We had to clean out the refrigerator and the kitchen tops in order to put our food in. Every bathroom mirror in the house had a wifi camera system in it. So it was like someone was peeping in on you while using the bathroom. In order for my family to feel comfortable, we covered all the mirrors with sheets and towels.the back house is rented out so the tenants park in the driveway and their music was loud the entire stay. There is also a huge plumbing problem in the kitchen. The sink backed up the last day and it was shooting the sink water out of the roof. The stairwell is not up to code. Very steep and narrow. Your whole foot cannot fit on the step. My family and i made the best out of the situation but i will say the house is modern, but not kid friendly. I tried to contact themanager through the app but i cannot send pictures through the app. I have documents and photos to back up my claim. Please contact me. ha
First the positive aspects of my stay... The host was extremely responsive and extremely helpful each time I messaged him.The house has obviously been recently remodeled. And was clean, and as expected, for the most part.I loved having access to the garage for my convertible!Very comfortable, living room and family room, and there were three huge tvs.The just okay parts were as follows....It was fully disclosed that there were tenants in the back, but it stated that they did not have access to the fire pit or the outdoor kitchen. Although that is true, you have to walk between all of the multiple cars parked in the driveway, and it is right behind the other tenant's house, which made it too uncomfortable for us to sit there. Having people walking up and down the driveway, the whole time we were there was a bit unsettling, also. The bed did not have top sheets.Only bottom sheets and a quilt. The most problematic thing for us was possibly not within the owner's control. Obviously whoever stayed there before us smoked a lot of marijuana in the house and the room ooms upstairs smelled so strong that it was difficult to stay there. We opened the windows and moved the air out multiple times and it seemed to get better. But then we would come back then it would smell again. I don't know if there's ventilation issues with the other tenants or what, but it was continually coming in from somewhere.
