Primary renter must be at least 18 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

This beautifully decorated penthouse is tucked into the private corner of the top floor at The Village of South Walton, located along the renowned 30A between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Perfectly suited for families and groups, this vacation home offers comfort, style, and easy access to everything the coast has to offer.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and family area is perfect for gathering. The kitchen features ample counter space and bar seating for three, while the dining table accommodates six. Relax in the cozy family room with its large flat-screen TV, plush seating, and a sleeper sofa. Step out onto the covered 100-square-foot balcony to take in the Gulf views and refreshing breezes.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental features:
Partial Gulf Views from both the balcony and master bedroom!
Bedroom 1: King-size bed, flat-screen TV, private balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and a jetted garden tub
Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed, flat-screen TV
Bedroom 3: Twin-size bunk beds with a staircase to the top bunk, flat-screen TV.
Living room: Sofa bed as well as an extra sofa, doors to balcony, large flat screen TV
Guest bath has shower (no tub)
Maximum Guest Occupancy: 8 Guests (Please note that children under the age of two years still count toward the maximum guest occupancy.)

Parking:

At the Village of South Walton there are no parking passes needed at this property. Guests may park anywhere in the parking lot that is nearby the building where your vacation rental is located. While there are over 200 public parking spaces, they are first-come, first-served.

The best way to reach the vacation rental from Destin and Panama City Beach is Via Hwy 98. From Hwy 98, take County Road 30A (RIGHT, if you're coming from Destin; LEFT, if you're coming from Panama City Beach). Travel on County Road 30A for just over a ½-mile. Look for shops on the right (Seacrest Sundries, Premier Property Group). Then turn right onto The Village Lane. This area is called "Peddler's Pavilion." Follow this road around till you see these shops: The Lens Bar, Pizza By The Sea, The Sweet Peddler. Turn right (when doing so, you should see La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar on your left).

At the stop sign, Building D is on your right and Building C is on your left, turn left. Building B is the 2nd building on the left, just past the pools. You can park anywhere in the parking lot.

The Village resort area with two pools, hot tub, fountain and grilling/dining sections located by Building H is for the exclusive use of guests and owners residing at The Village. Wristbands must be worn by guests over the age of 9 to gain access to this area.

The Villages of South Walton offers guests conveniently located community pools (one seasonally heated). The pool area opens at 9am and closes at 10pm; the occupancy for the hot tub is eleven. As there are no lifeguards at the pool, children must be monitored by an adult. Children under the age of 5 must wear swim diapers when at the pool. Please do not make exceptions, as accidents introducing fecal matter into the pool require a special disinfection process, which will result in the pool shutting down for up to 24 hours.

Amenity Wristbands: In the condo’s kitchen(ette), you will find "The Village" wristbands for your use. The following areas require wristbands be worn by all guests (10 years of age and older): the private beach access through Sunset Beach, The Village tram, and the new resort pool at The Village across from Building G. Prior to departure please return all wristbands to their proper place (guests will be charged a fee of $30 for each missing wristband).

Beach Tram Info: A complimentary beach tram is available to all guests of The Village of South Walton from March 1st– October 31st from 9am to 5:30pm CST (with no Tram service from noon-1; in addition, the Tram does not run in inclement weather). Guests must call to schedule Tram pickup, otherwise no tram service will be provided. Tram departs from The Village pool area near Building H. All guests 10 years of age and older must wear wristbands to access the Tram. No wagons, no glass, no canopies, or pets allowed on the Tram.

Beach Access Info: Private beach access for guests residing at The Village is through the Sunset Beach community. This private access point is monitored; guests older than the age of 9 will be required to wear a wristband to gain entry.

Walking Directions (5 to 10-minute walk): From Peddler's Pavilion (shopping area in front of The Village) turn right onto 30A. You'll pass High Pointe Resort House on your left. The beach access is shortly thereafter on the left (north) side of 30A (directly across from the Seacrest Beach entrance).

You will see the prominent lifeguard chair, which is the entrance to Seacrest. At that chair, take a left and locate the guard house. Show your wristbands to the guard and you will be permitted to walk straight to the beach. If there is no guard upon your arrival, walk down the middle path, in between the gates, to gain access to the beach.

PLEASE NOTE: Wheeled coolers, wagons, golf carts, bikes, skateboards and roller blades are not allowed through this beach access. Some large items may be permitted; however, per noise restrictions, they must be hand-carried down the pedestrian pathway leading to the shore through Sunset Beach. Strollers are permitted through the beach access as long as they are used to transport children and not beach gear. Beach tents are not permitted on any private beach access along 30A.

Other details to note:

Please abide by the policy posted onsite and provided here. NO smoking within 25 feet of any of the Village of South Walton buildings. There is a dedicated smoking area that is located in the center section between Buildings E/F and H. Security will be helping to enforce this rule.

Weber propane grills for guest use are located within the pool area. When using a grill, do not leave it unattended.

Upon booking, you’ll receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. And, if you need anything before, during or after your stay, our local team is ready to help!

Please be aware that there will be NO refunds for Wi-Fi issues as it’s not guaranteed. If reliable Wi-Fi is a must, you are welcome to bring your own internet hotspot.

Non-negotiable rules: No Smoking or Vaping, No Pets, No Events or Parties, No Firearms. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am (unless posted signage indicates otherwise).

Great Location

The location is wonderful. Right in the middle of all the shops, restaurants plus close enough to the beach. The apartment was fairly accurately described except the furniture in one of the bedrooms is dramatically different than what is shown (there is one single bed on the floor and then a loft style on top, which worked out in any case). It's interesting that although there is an emphasis on the beach proximity, there are not beach towels provided. I also had to ask for more than one day's supply of dishwasher detergent, for example. They were also very stingy with the toilet paper and the paper towels...as if we would want to steal this stuff. We did indeed run out of TP as there was only enough for one night basically. The kitchen appears fine which it is, so long as you don't plan on using it at all. There are 2 coffee machines with zero coffee or K cups provided. No salt, nothing. Like, you'll need to buy literally everything you'll need if you plan to use this kitchen. The management staff was receptive as I was asking about these things. And they did have someone deliver white towels for us to use on the beach if we needed, plus one more days worth of dishwasher detergent (again, I really didn't rent this place to come and steal your detergent OK:) Overall, decent place but just know these things before you go.
