This house lovely place in a great location — quiet, comfortable, and well-suited for a relaxing stay. It felt like it hadn’t had guests for a little while, but overall, it was clean and welcoming once we got settled in.That said, a few small miscommunications kept it from being a five-star experience. We had some trouble getting in on the first day — the entry code didn’t work, and it took about 20 minutes to get a response, which feels long when you’ve just arrived with a car full of groceries. Once inside, we realized there was no running water, so we had to locate and turn on the water main ourselves.We also ended up making a trip to the local hardware store to buy a coffee pot. The pre-visit info mentioned bringing coffee and filters, but the house only had a Keurig. Not a big deal, but something to note since stores aren’t nearby. Lastly, all the written materials (in the house and ahead of time) referred to a gas grill — and cautioned not to use charcoal — but when we went to grill dinner, it turned out to be a charcoal grill after all. We opted for ordering pizza instead. Again, not major issues, just a few little inconsistencies that added up.Overall, we really enjoyed the home and the location, and with a few updates to communication and amenities, it would be a 5 star review.

Good location when bringing a boat. Couldn't hear people walking by 24/7. Plenty of room for 4. If you can't drop the A/C below 72 without it freezing up, there's something wrong. It's undersized, dirty filter or coils, or low on freon. Minimum temperature of 72 was on the house rules.

Summer vacation

We absolutely enjoyed it with in walking distance of the beach and can see the ocean from the house. The only downside was there is not very many places to go eat at. Mango Marley’s was a great restaurant and close by

Perfect getaway

Quiet family friendly neighborhood, super easy access to the very uncrowded beach, house was cleaner than any we have stayed in, the covered parking was a huge plus. 100% recommend.

This property was very clean and like new! A short walk to the beach for our family of 5. Close proximity to food trucks, gift and sweets / coffee shops. The rental included a credit with a local beach gear company so our beach cart and tent was delivered and waiting for us to use when we arrived. Saved valuable room when packing for the trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of six has been visiting Mexico Beach for 15+ years now and it's always a great experience. This trip was no different. We use to stay in a smaller home next to the one we rented this trip before hurricane Michael destroyed it so we knew the area well. It's a very short walk to the beach and a few restaurants like Killer Seafood and TK Hibachi are only a couple minute walk too.The house itself was great. It offered everything my family and I would want. It also offers a great view of the ocean as well as the sunset. :) The house was very clean, instructions and helpful documentation was easy to follow, and the property company the owner goes through was very professional and communicated with me when appropriate.It's definitely on our list of houses to rent again on future visits!

Great Stay
