One of the best properties at Priest Lake. The passion and love the owners have for this property is evident. We feel fortunate to have stayed. A nice beach for swimming, great dock for your boat. We skied, tubed cruised caught fish, hiked and picked huckleberries. Check in was a breeze and the house is well equipped with everything you might need . Kitchen was great for what ever you wanted to cook
Wonderful home, beach, dock, location, view, amenities. Top notch, 5-stars, we hope to get to stay here again. We had an awesome family vacation and time at Priest Lake. Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home!
This is the third summer we have stayed at this home on Priest Lake. Our family loves the location and have many wonderful memories of good food, great conversations, reading in the quietness of the house, and joyful hours swimming, skiing, and boating from the dock. This summer we watched the most glorious sunset emerge over the lake and then fade as the night came upon us. Spectacular stay!
Beautiful home on a spectacular location at Priest Lake
My family thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in this beautiful home on the pristine Priest Lake. We were so pleased with the house layout, the comfortable four bedrooms, open living area, modern kitchen, double decks and of course the view of Priest Lake! Everyone felt at home and had so much fun! We absolutely loved our stay on this property and highly recommend it to future vacationers!
This place was the perfect setting for our family gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the upstairs play area when there was rain and they loved being outside when it was sunny. We brought our kayaks and they were easy to launch on the break taking beach front this home offers. It was a weekend we won't forget! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Our family had the most wonderful week at the Hummingbird Haven in Huckleberry Bay on Priest Lake! Our three grandsons, a.k.a. "three scampering squirrels" just lived in the water and had so much fun jumping and diving off the dock. Grandma and Gramps loved watching the hummingbirds dive bomb each other quarreling over territorial rights of the hummingbird feeder on the patio porch. The chalet was well designed for multiple family memory making. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants to enjoy family fun in a gorgeous lake setting!
We had a fantastic time staying at the property. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The only thing I'll mention is there is no AC and on the 80 degree days it got very warm inside and was hard to cool off at night as the doors didnt have screens so there wasnt much cross ventilation to cool off at night. It wasnt an issue for most of us but if you are used to a climate controlled house (like 2 in our group) you should be aware. Otherwise the house was fantastic! Amazing dock, great sand beach for the kids, privacy, games etc. The perfect getaway! We hope to be back again.
This is the second year we have stayed at the Hummingbird Haven in Huckleberry Bay. We are a family of nine, my husband and I, our two daughters, their husbands, and their three sons, ages 9, 11, and 12. The cabin is perfect for a family our size. The boys love the ping pong table and had a blast having tournaments all week long! The weather was lovely this year, cooler than in the past. The water was very chilly, but that didn't stop the grandsons from having a great time inner tubing, water skiing, and playing in the lake. Priest Lake is a very magical place, gorgeous beyond description, and Hummingbird Haven is a special place that allows our family to make memories that we will treasure all their lives.
Thank you so much!

The area, the home, the lake were all great. The sand was a little hard on bare feet as it was kinda of sharp and hard to walk on but water shoes took care of that.
Our week was lots of fun with plenty of warm weather and sun. Very relaxingđââïžđââïžđŁââïžđŽââïž!
Loved that the home had two ovens. One fridg/freezer combo, not so much.
If Iâm helping other people that have never stayed there I would say take extra garbage bags and plan on hauling garbage least 17 miles, take extra toilet paper, use block ice and possibly dry ice in your coolers because there is only one refrigerator with a freezer in the bottom, take extra soap.
To me the upside was well worth the few problems we encountered. I give our stay a strong 3 1/2 stars!
Thanks for all your help Susie.

Priest Lake was beautiful, and my family very much enjoyed our time there. That said I'm not sure how much the house itself enhanced our vacation. The things we did like about the house included the view, two barbeques, ping pong and foosball, a very extravagant kitchen, television and Netflix, the surrounding neighborhood, appearance and cleanliness, and a dock with great swimming and boating access. One main sore point for me was the lack of hot water, rendering the lukewarm Jacuzzis virtually useless. Another criticism is the excessive list of rules, a three-ring binder's worth. Do not expect to get the entirety of your deposit back, as our family spent our last morning at Priest Lake cleaning and was still charged an unreasonable amount for professional cleaning. While we had a fun time, we would not choose to stay here again.
We stayed a week with our adult children and grandkids (12 of us) and really enjoyed it. The home is large and laid out nicely. We loved the small beach area and private dock. Everything worked great in the house. The only thing that would have been helpful was to have better pictures of what's described as the loft with a futon/couch bed. It's actually just on the second floor right in the middle of all of the other three bedrooms so it didn't provide any privacy at all and was quite noisy since everyone was coming in/out of their rooms off this main floor area where the couch is. The main floor room was very comfortable with a king bed and has a super nice large bathroom with tub/shower. The second floor has two rooms with queen beds in them and then a third room with a queen and a trundle bed (so 2 twin mattresses). If you are looking for a true 4 bedroom home this is a wonderful house and could comfortably sleep 10. We brought all of our food in since the closest grocery store is close to an hour away and that worked out just fine. The kitchen was well equipped and we did all of our own cooking. Susan was great about communication and the lockbox worked wonderful for arriving/leaving. We made lots of good memories and really enjoyed this beautiful, comfortable place to spend time together.
We gathered with family to spend quality time together...the house floorplan was perfect...master on main with kitchen, open to rest of living space. The other bedrooms and game room upstairs ...perfect set up...multiple balconies to enjoy the lake. Our only hurdle was the driveway, which would not accommodate our canoe trailer...it is steep and has a sharp curve at the bottom, so we parked our trailer after unloading at Indian Creek Campground for a fee.....not really a big deal...
The house is quality with heated floors in the kitchen....pretty awesome on a cool fall day....!! Thank you for sharing your slice of Priest Lake with us.
Priest lake is amazing. It is so quiet and calm. The house is very well equipped with all you would need to enjoy your stay. One thing that could be upgraded is the BBQ. We cooked all meals at the house for a week and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils.
The WIFI isn't great and drops frequently. Which is a problem if you travel with teens. Although it does them good to be without their phones for a bit.
Amazing dock to park your boat at or just sit out and enjoy the view. Great sandy beach leading to the water. This is our second time at this house and would most definitely return.
We had a great stay(except for the smoke. It was smoky from Wednesday through Saturday. But we made the best of it. Iâm sure my family will return but the stairs are getting to be a little too much for usđą. We really love the house, location and Susie! Thanks for letting us stay!
This is truly a great property with lots of room and amenities! Very well stocked kitchen and even an extra refrigerator really make it easy to care for the group and the 2.5 baths are wonderful!
Great dock and sandy beach for all to enjoy!
This home is wonderful. We stayed last year and enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked it again for this year. The location is quiet with a lovely beach right out the front door and a dock to tie up our boat. I would give this home my highest recommendation. Thank you!
Simply a wonderful week at a wonderful property. Monday was a get settled day, Tuesday we picked huckleberries, Wednesday was a fishing charter excursion, Thursday we hiked to the Upper Priest Lake. It was a full, fast and fun week. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for the stay. Susie was an outstanding Host and we hope she will invite us back next summer. Thank You to the Cookâs for sharing their lake home, we LOVED it!
My husband grew up in Spokane and spent summers on Priest Lake. We purchased our property at Priest Lake in 1994. I used to call it the 'most expensive camping spot in the world'. We had the shell built about 2004 and had intended to finish the inside ourselves. After many years of trying, we decided to go ahead and let the professionals complete it. The inside was completed July, 2012. Better late than never!
We have the nicest beach in Huckleberry Bay. We were the first people to buy property on our shoreline. When we heard it was opening up for sale we came in by boat before the road was in and scoped out the best beach. When the lots went on the market, we were ready to pounce on the best one.
You will love the light, breezy feeling of our home. Most homes on this lake have a dark, cabiny feel. Ours was intentionally built to be just the opposite. We enjoy the beautiful views of the water and our beach from the open verandas on each level.
