This is an absolutely beautiful place. The decor is modern and furnishings and beds comfortable. There are numerous ammenities. The lakeside views, gazebo and hot tub are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
We had a great two-night getaway from St. John's with our young adult daughter. It is a beautiful property in a peaceful location on a lovely pond. My daughter loved hearing the loons! The weather wasn't good enough for us to get into the pond but we spent a fair bit of time in the hot tub and sitting in the living room reading, watching movies and playing games. You can tell the property is new so I hope they are able to keep it up to the current standard over time. The listing pictures should be updated to show the gazebo and the grass as they both add to the property. We do have a few things that we feel would add to the overall comfort, especially for a more extended stay.- Add bedroom storage - clean out closet in primary bedroom and add a closet organizer. Could remove second set of bunk beds in the queen room to make the closet accessible and create room for a small dresser, nightstand with lamp and maybe even a chair. Add a narrow dresser in the small bunk room.- Add a device charging area in the main entry - bedrooms are also lacking in this area.- Blinds in the living room windows would improve TV watching during daylight hours...it was difficult to see even on a gloomy day.- An awning over the hot tub would be amazing.- House has way more items than many rentals but there were a couple of items missing - a hair dryer and BBQ utensils, in particular would be great.Overall, we had a great two days, and would love to come back again.
The house was perfect for our stay. We felt at home and really appreciated the space the house provided with our group of 6 people. The property manager was quick to respond. We look forward to staying here on our future trips back to Newfoundland.
My friends and I had a nice stay for four nights. The house is on a beautiful spot on an inland lake. The living area is comfortable; the beds and linens are okay. Note that space in the bedrooms is limited and there is no place to put one's luggage. The property seemed not quite ready for guests (e.g., bits of stuff lying around here and there, tags on furniture, no pfds for the paddleboards, window covering missing in one bedroom). The property manager did her best to promptly answer our questions (such as, Why is the hot tub cooling off?) but a manual with basic instructions would be helpful. It's the little things that matter.
We loved how private it was and had everything we needed. Being right on the pond was also a bonus. The gazebo right by the water was such a nice touch and beautiful to use either in the daytime to get away from the flies or the night time with all the lights on đ also very modern! They were to the minute on timing as the cleaner was there til exactly our check in at 4 and she showed back up exactly at 11:00 the next morning. Not a problem as those were the hours. The lawn maintenance guy showed up at 3:55 to mow the lawn and was there after 4 which was a little bothering but once we checked the place out and had our stay that was long forgotten about. Would 100% go back again! Also the host was very responsive and helpful â„ïž
The place was absolutely beautiful. The service provided by the owner was very unfriendly and rude.I have never made a complaint before and I have stayed in multiple places and traveled extensively over the years. The service received from the owner was a very negative experience. Really unfortunate as the place is absolutely beautiful!
