This rental was falsely advertised as a luxury property â it was dirty, poorly maintained, and misrepresented.The photos were clearly edited or AI-generated, and many listed amenities simply didnât exist. We felt scammed and extremely frustrated.Major Issues:âąCockroach infestation â we killed at least 10 within 24 hours.âąBroken bathtub â unsafe for toddlers.âąBedroom door (bunk room) broken â hard to close.âąHallway bathroom door doesnât lock â unacceptable for shared use.âąUnusable cookware â burned and scratched (see photos).âąTrash cans had no liners â unhygienic and hard to manage waste.âąMissing amenities: no shampoo, no crib, no kidsâ games, no hair dryer.âąPromised garage parking was inaccurate â tight fit, overhangs sidewalk.âąNo rooftop grill or dining setup as pictured â only four tanning chairs.âąHouse clearly staged for sale â cold, impersonal, and not guest-ready.Calling this property âluxuryâ is laughable â it was dirty, broken, and misleading.The hostâs behavior was equally unacceptable. He falsely accused us of checking in early, despite his prior permission to stop by for beach badges. He then entered unannounced, confronted us aggressively in front of our kids, and inspected the house without cause. It was rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate.Though he initially offered a partial refund, he later rescinded it.Avoid this rental at all costs.
