This listing is for a condo at The Summit Beach Resort, it's located right along the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches and within walking distance to great restaurants, a golf course, and other family attractions. The Summit Beach Resort offers guests onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bob’s Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts, and a fitness center. During the Summer, kids can enjoy Resort Collection’s Adventure Zone activities onsite, including fan favorite Dive-In Movies on the pool deck at dusk. Each suite is fully furnished, providing all the comforts of home. The Summit is one of the biggest resorts and offers some of the best values on the beach.

Summit Penthouse Stay

Was the perfect location for me and a large group of friends! Everything was perfect, clean, and the area has so much to do. We really enjoyed our spring break trip and I would highly recommend to everyone!

Condo in general was not clean. Surfaces needed wiped with clorox. Couldnt walk barefoot without feet turning black. Washer was very stinky with mildew. Lots of mold in the washer including brown scum inside the rubber ring. Needs scrubbed or replaced. I wiped out some but was too gross cleaning someone elses dirt. Lint trap in dryer would not go in all the way because it was filled with lint and sand. I dug out some with butter knife. I used the dryer and there was never lint in the trap because the screen edge is broken so it doesnt work properly. Id buy a new lint trap to avoid a fire in the future. Random side note...the sliding door in hallway closet of master bedroom was off the track. We did not use it. You also need a dustpan to go with the broom. And a new shower curtain in the double king bathroom. Smells terrible.

Room was not cleaned and ready on arrival after purchasing early check in. Balcony obstruction of ocean view. Workers on balcony throughout week. Balcony locked off. Very hard to get help our response with the issues. Host did offer 200.00 since we weren’t able to access balcony all week. I feel host could have did more. Balcony closed off prior to our visit and we weren’t notified. So what we purchased isn’t what we received . On the bright side if unit hadn’t been rushed cleaning it is a nice unit. We also purchased this breezeway early check in which was offered for a day early. We refused that but purchased early arrival check in. When we checked in room hadn’t been touched so had to kill time while unit was being cleaned and still got charged. I would consider to try this unit in the future when balcony is finished.
No curtains in living room. No privacy
Had workers on our balcony as we were awaken by workers out side our bedroom. Not cool. 8:15 am

Great week

Just spent the week staying at this condo. On arrival we had to check in at the lobby and pay a small resort fee (no issue) and were given a parking pass. The location of this resort is great and the views are amazing. We were told the last 2 weeks of April are always quiet so we never had an issue getting a spot on the beach or at the pool. Staff were always making sure the grounds were clean and the pools were kept clean. The condo itself was spacious with almost anything you could need in the kitchen. The condo itself has normal wear and tear. The unit has a washer dryer and dishwasher which was great. It did not have beach towels or anything extra for the beach when we stayed, so you may want to bring your own. Overall I would stay again.

When you get there, you have to check in at the front desk and get bands and parking pass to stay on the property, which costs money, no mention of that in online description or any emails after. Hotel room needs a good cleaning. Moldy caulking. Baseboards, fans all need dusted. Bugs in light fixtures. There was a piece of looked like craft paper taped to the wall in one of the bedrooms, there was something literally scratching behind it. They were doing major construction on the building, no heads up on that either! They tried to tear apart our balcony while we were there, actually moved the outdoor furniture inside the condo and said we couldn’t use the balcony for the rest of the stay. I called Edci/management company. Week later and still waiting on a call back. Location was great, but room and management could use a little more attention to detail.

I didn’t realize I had to check in at the front desk to get our wristbands and pay a fee, in the past, the wristbands were in the room. We did have a water pressure situation throughout the complex for one night, the facility wasn’t super responsive, generally 1 of the 4 elevators was not working, but this room was very nice. The washing machine however is very visibly moldy and does need a professional to clean it. I have never seen one so bad. The dryer lint trap was clogged with lint, we did vacuum out as much as we could, the lint trap wouldn’t even go in the slot all the way.
