Cozy RV in Tampa, Hyde Park area with WiFi, AC. Close to UT, downtown.
No frills, just a cozy little camper in a great walkable neighborhood convenient to many excellent dining, shopping and other attractions. University of Tampa just 1 mile away and downtown Tampa including the cruise terminal just a couple blocks more. Walkable to Hyde Park Village, Berns Steakhouse and Bayshore Blvd. No car needed, but plenty of rideshare options for those day trips to the beach, Busch Gardens, Tampa Zoo or our fantastic Aquarium. Excellent place for people on the go. The RV features an RV queen mattress, slightly shorter than a regular queen. Small dinette for two and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and 2 burner stove. The bathroom is small as is the shower but suitable for average size people. Thereâs a new TV connected to WiFi so bring your streaming accounts. There are also a few free tv channels. Nice clean and comfortable place for adventurers on the go. *All guests will get an introduction to the safety and operational procedures on arrival day.
Our stay at this property was excellent, the RV was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and such a convenient location. Perfect for someone who doesnât want to pay a lot of money for a place to stay but wants a convenient location and comfortable bed to sleep in. The owner was also very responsive and available if we had any questions or concerns. No complaints, would definitely stay again!
In my case it was very convenient. I look for a quiet and clean place to stay, and the RV meet those simple requirements. The property manager was very attentive and helpful.
Location was perfect. Close walking distance to city center Hyde Park. Great restaurants and bars. We had to visit Tampa General daily because of a family member with a weeks long stay. Rental price was right. We are used to RV trailer living so the small space and short hot showers were expected. No surprises Heating and cooling worked well and very comfortable bed. We will recommend any time, wonderful host. Thank you.
We stayed in this RV trailer for 4 nights while sightseeing Tampa and St. Petersburg. The location was in a safe neighborhood and an easy access to all sorts of things to see and do. We chose not to rent a car so we walked pretty much everywhere and occasionally took an Uber, the street car & ferry. Itâs about a 20 to 30 minute walk to get to the River Walk/downtown. We particularly appreciated the budget-friendly cost, especially as a couple who really only spends time in motels to sleep and shower. We did comfortably watch the Super Bowl in the RV with some takeout food. If you choose to stay here, you need to understand some of the limitations of a RV trailer compared to a traditional motel or house. The space is small, but we expected that. You canât take 2 showers in a row due to the small water heater, so you need to plan accordingly. About 15 mins max per shower. Good size refrigerator for this size trailer. If you have a large suitcase, youâre going to have to get creative as to where to store it when not in use. I kept mine on one of the bench seats by the dining table, and my husband stored his empty suitcase under the trailer because we werenât expecting any the rain. The owner was very responsive, very friendly, and easy to communicate with. My friend who lives outside of Tampa, came to see us and was equally impressed, noting the great location. She plans to tell her friends who come to visit too!
My son was visiting UTampa for the weekend and this little camper was the perfect, cost effective, close to campus option for us! The owner was very accommodating. The camper was just as pictured, very tidy and clean. It is located in a safe residential area, there is plenty of privacy and a dedicated parking spot for your vehicle. We only used it to sleep in at night and did not cook in the camper. There is a small burner, microwave, fridge, cooking supplies, wine glasses, plates in the cabinets. There is a small bathroom, the water tank is small so, we took quick showers! We spent our days outside enjoying all the sunshine and beaches and were provide beach chairs and towels for the weekend. Great little rental, no frills but perfect for a quick getaway!
Originally from Seattle, Iâve been in Tampa with a stop in Michigan for 25 years. I love home improvement projects, growing food, hitting the beach and just being outside in this beautiful Florida sunshine.
