Two things that we look for in a stay is that it is clean and that the beds are comfortable. This house was very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The owner has taken special attention to having quality towels in the bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Our grandkids loved the rec room downstairs, making this visit nice for them. We contacted the owner for some advice and found him very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. All in all we would recommend this home. When we come back to Rockford we will definitely check availability of this home. LK from TN

Hiking at Rock Cut State Park

My 4 person family needed a place to stay to explore Rock Cut State Park. The house was lovely - very clean and very spacious. It had much more space than we needed which definitely made it worth the price. The owner was quick to answer question. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming.

Wedding Trip

We rented as out of town attendees at a family wedding. The house was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located to the venues we needed to get to. It also was close to grocery stores and gas stations. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. It had snowed the night before we arrived. We would have appreciated the walkway cleared before our arrival. The house front does not get much direct sun, so no natural snow melt.

Family Time

Our mom lives in a small senior living apartment and we wanted a bigger place to gather instead of the restaurant at the hotel we typically stay in when we visit. The house provided that space and comfort perfectly! Other than the beds being a bit uncomfortable, we truly enjoyed our time at your home. A side note, the Keurig side of the coffee maker doesn’t seem to be working correctly.. . It has a “clean needle” error message and starting making a horrible sound. The first day we cleaned the needle but It didn’t finish brewing the next day. We only tried the two cups and stopped.
