The cabin was cozy and clean. We saw some wildlife and it was a quiet location so you could hear the stream nearby. We were very satisfied with our stay and would come back if we end up in the area again.
We enjoy this place to relax in with the dogs.Lots of nearby food venues and plenty of shopping. The smells outside from all the flowers and trees was a pleasant surprise.
This cabin was the perfect peaceful getaway. Janie went above and beyond by decorating it for Christmas, adding such a warm and festive touch. It had everything we could possibly need, with thoughtful details throughout. It truly made our stay in Medford special. Highly recommend!
We attended a family Thanksgiving festivity with 24, guests including 10 children, just up the road and found an ideal retreat to reinvigorate ourselves at this wonderful VRBO. The cabin was everything advertised and more. Janie, our hostess was charming. We not only would highly recommend this haven, but plan to be back!
This little cabin is absolutely the sweetest and most perfect spot! Just on the outskirts of Medford! Loved being in a quiet spot, able to lay on the porch swing and watch the stars! The cabin inside is so sweet and cozy! We literally felt like it was home ( it was perfect)! Beautiful place, with history, and love, the owner is a wonderful lady and Monty her dog is a gentleman! We will definitely stay here again!
Beautiful place, wonderful location, & Janie is the very nice owner, along with her sweet dog, Monte.
The cabin is taken care of & is in just the right spot on the property. We had everything we needed. It's close to town, too, to find places to eat.

This cabin is a delight! Surrounded by a lush, fragrant garden, it affords privacy and peacefulness without being miles away from town. The cabin itself is so well designed and beautifully appointed that it becomes the most appealing part of your stay. We spent most of our time inside due to the extreme heat, so we became well acquainted with it. Even though it is small, it is more spacious than the average hotel room, comfortable for 2 adults and 2 medium sized dogs to hang out. There is an eating area as well as comfy chairs so you don't have to spend all your time sitting in bed. The deck also had plenty of seating althoughbwe could only sit outside in early morning or late evening. The host was very kind and gracious.
The only challenge: the parking is 200ft from the cabin (as noted in the listing), but you can't pull up to the cabin to unload, so I had to make several trips to unload the car. Just something to know; I definitely would stay here again. This place is a jewel.
It meet our needs perfectly. The host was delightful and helpful. Everything was just as advertised. It is a great location for exploring the local area and Crater Lake.
A very sweet little cabin with a lot of history and charm. Janie was kind and the property was beautiful, the cabin had everything we needed for a short weekend away!
We loved this place! It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway, and as an added bonus, our pup could come as well. I think the pictures don't do justice to how cute this place is; it appears much bigger in person than it did in the listing.
Janieâs Creekside Cabin continues to be my favorite hideaway in Medford! So relaxing. Fall asleep to the babbling creek, wake up with a rooster crowing. Secluded yet 10 minutes from everything you could ever need.
Janie took such great care of my little dog and I. Monte (Janieâs dog) gave my little Rowdy a complete tour of the property! They played together all week.
I hope we get to come back soon! â„ïž
I absolutely love the Creekside Cabin. I come to the area for work a lot and itâs perfect when I get to spend my time here. So please donât tell anyone!!
Itâs so quiet and my little dog can run around with Monte. I can watch the deer walking along the edge of the property in evening. Life is sweet at the tiny cabin.
It was a delightful stay for my dog and me because:
The cabin was charming with all of its period details,
The property was walkable and peaceful with a "creek running through it", and
The host was outgoing, warm and friendly. The resident dog, too!
Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely book the cabin again.
We stayed 6 nights at the cabin with our yellow lab (outside). It was a great cabin, good location, and a great place for a well behaved dog to run around. Cycling routes at the main road, close to Medford and Ashland. Check it out!
I was married in 1982 and moved onto my husband's family property. I am a retired Christian school teacher. I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for the unique ongoing blessing to live on this property even since my husband passed away after 37 years together. This place is so much a part of his heritage.
My grandfather-in-law purchased the greater property back in the 1920's. My parents-in-law bought part of it in the early sixties. When my husband came of age and needed his own place, his parents subdivided again and gave him 3 1/2 acres. On the greater property was this cabin that his great-grandfather had lived in during the depression. Our dream was to move it to our side of the creek and rebuild it to be a guest cabin. We completed the project in 2008, listed it in 2012, and would love to share it with you.
As you drive across our bridge, you will be greeted by huge oaks that provide shade for the park area. The property is bordered on one side by the creek and a well-kept vineyard on the other. The rose garden and other flower beds will delight you. We have strived to create a peaceful, park-like setting apart from the hustle and bustle of life where you can find a quiet place without TV to reflect and smell the roses.
