New cabin near Red River Gorge, fire pit, walk to hiking
This tranquil retreat is perfect for a cozy getaway. North and south facing porches to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or a meal. Fire pit just steps from the home to relax by. Close proximity to hiking in Red River Gorge and Pilot Knob or a quick 45 min drive to Lexington.
The little house was very clean and comfortable. The setting is away from any traffic and very quiet. Itâs close enough to the Red River area for hiking and close enough to other cities for restaurant choices. Great vacation!
Property was very clean and well maintained. A bit of a drive to the red river area but worth it. Peaceful retreat equipped with everything you may need.
This is my 3rd time staying here. Really enjoy the location. Secluded and peaceful. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. Love the red river gorge area. The sunsets were amazing. Will be back again.
Perfectly situated to have peace and quiet and be close to attractions and food. The cabin was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and generously appointed with little extras like movies, games, extra towels, extra pillows, and extra blankets. Absolutely lovely cabin.
This cabin is so cute. Located far enough in the woods to feel secluded, but close enough to the road to get back to town easily. We really enjoyed our time there.
This was the perfect place for relaxing and catching up with some high school friends. It was nice to enjoy the quietness of natural, especially the outdoor fire place. Would definitely book again.
The house was charming and super clean! The covered porches were a great place to sit and relax while enjoying the quiet outdoors. Amanda had everything you need and more: full bottle toiletries, lotion, femine products- just in case, lighted makeup mirror, hairdryer, boardgames, movies, books, basic seasonings in the kitchen, etc. The house was close to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge Park. We were greeted multiple times by 3 different dogs. We are animal people, and the dogs were very sweet and friendly, so this wasn't an issue. I believe they belong to the neighbors. Just a heads-up to anyone who doesn't like dogs. We enjoyed our stay, and we'd definitely stay here again.
We have rented a fair share of cabins in the 40min radius visiting friends. This was by far the most complete, covered your every need (and then some). All the dishes and cookware needed, coffee pot too! They even supplied you with coffee filters and coffee. I have a bad habit of packing half the house (and still did this time) but lessoned learned if you come here you don't have to. They have books, movies, games etc. We even brought in wood from our local friend, not relazing they supplied that too ! It was very clean. Plenty of towles and toiletries. The loft is very nice and even had the best stairs we have ever seen, not the usual death trap my kids are scared to climb.
Modern cabin for exploring state parks and Lexington
I stayed here with a friend for a fun get-away weekend. We wanted to be close to hiking - Natural Bridge State Park Pilot Knob and not more than 1 hour away from Lexington. This is a great compromise location in the country. There are neighbors nearby and on Turley Rd., so it's not totally secluded, but it's not house-next-to-house like in the city. We went into Lexington in the evening for shopping, dinner and dessert. The cabin is beautiful - modern, yet a rustic, country charm. New everything! The decor is nice, everything worked and the kitchen is well-stocked. I appreciated that. The porch and outdoor dining tables are perfect. Very quiet in this area and cozy.
