we came into town to visit a friend for our annual st Patricks day trip and this house was perfect for us! It was so nicely decorated and had everything we could need!
As soon as my friends and I walked into the house, we immediately fell in love. We quite literally talked about how nice and cute the place was for the first 30 minutes. The host was very responsive and answered any questions I had. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting to in Pensacola and doesnât mind making a 15 min drive to the beach.
This house was SO inviting, and easy to access. It made our family beach vacation so much easier. The kitchen was well appointed, there were even kids toys in one area of the house. I would recommend the Magnolia House to anyone visiting Pensacola.
The house and rooms were very well represented in the photos! Nice house with spacious rooms and comfortable beds! Kitchen was fabulous with a large breakfast bar. Close to beaches and activities. Nice driveway parking and back porch was nice to sit and visit. All the emenities. Next trip to Florida we will be checking availability! đ„°
Very nice place with a great feeling to the house. Great open floor plan that flows nice. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen and shower. The location was awesome in that there was really no neighbors and in the middle of everything. 15 minutes to the beach. 5 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes to most shopping. Great place to stay.
Everything was great about the inside and out of the house. House was decorated very nice, had everything we needed there. The only complaint I had was the price for the area the house was in. During the day no problems but when night time came noise started from blaring radios to speeding carsâŠ.and people walking around all times of the night.
Loved the access to downtown, the highways, and FOOD! Yes, these are the best parts about a weekend away.
Thank you for a great stay. Even our puppy was sad to go!
Magnolia House looks small from the front but felt huge inside. We loved the lay out: it basically divides into two halves, one side is living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry/mud room (with access to the back patio) while the other side has the three bedrooms and the bath. With a door between the back bedroom and the laundry/mud room you can walk in a circle throughout the whole house if you want to. The house has a very cool character to it.
The back patio/yard area is cool and super private. The business to one side (that faces the main road) is not open so there's no activity there. The back fence and the other side both butt up against an empty green (trees, etc.) space that is fenced in and locked. (I kind of want to buy that space and put a little house on it!). So effectively there are no neighbors except across from the front of the house. I should also add, because it was an important factor for us, that the privacy fence not only made it feel even more secluded, but also made it a safe place for our dogs to roam freely.
Communication before, during, and after our stay with Shanna was quick, helpful, and friendly. Add all of this up together and it meant that it was harder than usual for us to leave, the place felt so much like home!
The house has plenty of room and has been beautifully updated. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but we had no problems and never felt unsafe. Pensacola beach is just a 10-15 min drive from the house. We really enjoyed our stay! Very budget friendly and we will definitely rent again when we go back to Pensacola!!
Magnolia House is spacious and beautiful. My husband and I spent a month there, and had family join over the holidays. Bedrooms and living areas are large, accurately shown in photos. The kitchen is well stocked, and Shanna provided a list of key items for us in advance, since we planned to mostly cook in.
Shanna is quick to respond and accomodating for information requests.
If you're planning to visit Pensacola Beach in 2021, check to see if the bridge is open again. It was closed, which means it's a min 45 min drive. Perdido Key is really nice, too, but also 30 min.
The neighborhood is OK. We did a lot of walking, mostly preferred to drive a bit for walking.
this property was so amazing..we had a struggle because of covid-19. We rented property in January. I kept checking to make sure everythin gwas om with the rental and Shanna was so friendly thru the whole thing. I felt like I was being a pain by asking so much, but this vacay was special. My sister, my niece and I. They flew in from Texas. We are from California so it was our first beach trip since moving to the south, lol..We loved it. The house was amazing and perfect. The deck is absolutely amazing. We had a blast. It felt so homey and the beach is literally 30 minutes away..we had a great time and will definately be renting this exact property again...I'm so thankful that Shanna opened up her home to us..Thank you..We had a great time.
Hi! I'm a native Texan but I absolutley love Pensacola! My husband Craig and I relocated to Pensacola from Austin. Growing up Shanna gained a love for classic homes and antiques from her Parents. We love the beach and working on our houses. We have 3 kids, a pup named Tiki and too many kitties to count!
Great spacious historical cottage lovingly renovated and maintained. Located near downtown just a couple miles from downtown, Palafox Street, Pensacola Bay Center, Wahoo Stadium, Joe Patti's, PNS Airport, 15 mins from beautiful Pensacola Beach.
