The label is accurate, it IS a charming place. You cannot beat the location for downtown Weston and O'Malley's Pub.

Great spot for going to Pirtle, O'Malleys, and downtown Weston. Clean and quaint. Just wish there been a thermostat to manage - the temp was warmer than preferred.

Great place for a couple. We really enjoyed our night in Weston. It’s basically at Pirtle and O’Malley’s so your entertainment is covered. Room was clean and nice. It is a basement that’s been turned into its own apartment and separated from the rest of the home. Quiet sleeping. Felt private. It did get slightly hot at night and we couldn’t find a way to turn it down. You might bring a fan. Otherwise 5 stars all the way.

The location was perfect for getting around town—we walked everywhere. This is a basement apartment and you can hear the people walking above a lot. We were welcomed by the people when we got there as they were sitting on their front porch—seemed very nice

This property has one great thing going for it, location. It is very close to the Pub and winery as well as a short walk to downtown Weston. Unfortunately the actual property was not the best. First the ‘stone path’ to the side door of the house is very uneven and not clearly marked. We came back from dinner around 1030 and it was very dark and someone could easily trip. It was not clear where we could park so we ended up parking in the street and carrying bag around the house to the entrance. The cleanliness and overall comfort of the places left a lot to be desired. As mentioned in other reviews the couch needs to be replaced and although it is a basement apartment there were quite a few bugs and cobwebs. The bathroom mirror and floors were pretty dirty(white socks were dirty after walking on the floor). The bathroom door didn’t close and there was no exhaust fan or temperature controls for the apartment and it was very cold. We did not feel comfortable showering due to the temps. I had read this in reviews and didn’t think it would be an issue but at the time of our reservation it ended up being a really chilly weekend. We also ended up getting up around 615 due to having plans in the morning but the host family was up making breakfast and walking around by 645 and since it’s a basement apartment with no insulation you heard everything. Overall I would not rent again here.

Went to wine fest and this was literally steps from Pirtle and the fest! Could not have gotten anything better! Cute, cozy, perfect!

The place was very clean and quaint. The owners take pride in their property and offer good hospitality. The path to the house was tricky. Muddy and snowy due to the time of year. And the bedroom was cold. I think I would enjoy the stay in the spring or summer. It is very close, walking distance, to the historical downtown of Weston. And right next to my favorite pub.

Excellent location. Host extremely responsive. This is a basement of a home. Some children running upstairs, it didn’t bother us at all, but should be noted. There is also no TV. Again - we weren’t there for TV, but something to note. Full kitchen, bathroom and even a washer and dryer. Plenty of space.

Close to Historic District

This location is in easy walking distance from Weston's historic Main Street and O'Malley's Brewery and Bar. Exceptionally clean and spacious. I would say if you were mobility impaired, this would not be the location for you. We were fine, but there is a primitive path to the door, and the shower floor is raised to accommodate pluming. Room was quiet and comfortable with a bright kitchenette living space and dark (when you want it) bedroom.

The apartment was very clean. The "path" to the apartment was very inadequate. After you walk up a steep driveway there are very uneven and rough big rocks/stones that are the "path". It made it difficult to carry bags and coolers. One of us had a bad knee and it was very difficult for her. The parking location is a short walk from the front door.

Hi JB, I’m sorry the path was inadequate for the visitors. We are adding stones to improve it, it’s not a concrete pathway no. I understand it’s not the easiest, I will put it more clearly on the listing the path is rougher terrain. I hope the apartment itself was good for you.

Quick Stop in Weston

My husband and I were there for a quick stop in Weston to pick up some special beer from the local brewery. The checkin process was seamless - however, finding the apartment was a little tricky. It is a walkout cement basement room on the side of a larger home - with no signage to direct you around the side of the house. It was raining when we arrived, and after finding the rock steps, we decided it was too slippery and muddy to take roller bags in, so we consolidated what we needed for the night and just took that in. Although the description says no elevator, it should mention that it would not be wheelchair or walker accessible. We are close to our 80s, and found the pathway a little challenging, especially in the rain. Having said all that, the apartment was cozy, clean, and if we were headed downtown or the local wineries, it would have been very convenient. Our hostess was prompt in responding to our request for A/C as the thermostat is in the main house. A little noisy early in the evening as activity in the main house is heard in the basement, as well as an extremely loud toilet. Overall, it was a quaint experience.

It was so nice to be able to walk to and from the apartment to downtown Weston! The location is awesome. Perfectly comfortable for couples! We also really appreciated the snacks and drinks left for us. Amazing stay. Would absolutely go back!
